Not only can I kill lights consistently and reliably, I can now also hit things with SRMs. I can even do both at once!

Agreed it is a whole different ball game now.
My shots now hit where I SEE them hit and usually running at 250ms++.

I don't need to rely on Streaks now for consistent damage and I am gonna start experimenting more with different builds.

Thank you for finally fixed the 'lag shield' PGI Devs !
It works both ways now people. People who 'LAG' can use directional weapons effectively as well.

The colors are more vivid, at least in River City Day and on the Mechs.

At first I didn't like the fact this patch reduced my frame rate, however the netcode improvements outweigh that.

Nothing is good till streaks get nerfed and match making is fixed.

Many many undocumented changes.

If the devs would list all that they did, it would make them look more like they worked hard and keep the crowd happier. Instead it looks like they're hidings thins and while they may be improvements, the community reaction is sure to be less positive than had they announced it.

Looking at the latest notes doesn't really show what they've done (definately some improvement on the netcode among many other things)

Logged in just to say, LOVE LOVE LOVE this patch. Game feels so solid now with the improved hit detection. I even find myself overcompensating from muscle memory from the lag shield days! Great to be able to hit fast targets consistently now.

Performance wise, about the same for me... i7 2600k, gtx 460, 16 gb ram.

Great work devs, keep it up!

In one game my minimap was completely broken. It didn't display the map at all, and always showed my mech's torso as centered, whether it was or not.

Occasionally after dying I am unable to bring up the scoreboard by pressing tab.

Yes. Happens to me as well. The initialization for the patcher is dead slow.

Oh and one of my Jenners was missing 2 medium lasers immediately after the patch. I had to re-install them.

Streaks are a joke...low damage and jammed by ECM..die to that and you are awful.

Hi Pls work on Teambalance in this game! or make more players maybe 12vs12!! Ever after first min 1-3 players are disconnecting! And awso teambalance is bad! I got very bad stats but feel i come ever in a team with awso bad stats!

Got a problem with mouse pointer appear during the game so i lost control until i press a mouse button mostly left if i remember and its happened every game at least once.

this patch hasn't done me any good.... in fact it has cut the dmg i do in battle by 1/2 at least.

i pilot a PPC awesome... now the heat is more difficult to control, the ppcs not only sometimes converge in every which way instead of where i am actually aiming at...
and combine that with the new weapons delay, ppc is crippled beyond any use... at least for me the weapons lag bug i am experiencing... to hit a light that is far away not only do i have to trail ahead for the ppc strike to hit it's target, i have to aim TWICE as much ahead of any mech cause the delay means the ppcs fire 1 second after i press... my hit ratio has become laughable

i'll have to stop playing for a patch or two
which is a shame because i was about to buy some MC, but now...

needles to say I LOATHE this patch... i DESPISE it.

it breaks the ppc awesome so much you're just asking people to stop using it altogether now, where as before it was only a bad mech


i beg piranha to remove this patch, there's like 12 new prominent bugs everyone is experiencing, for what?
a hero light mech with no ecm, and a cute animation?
absolutely not worth it.... this patch broke the game BIG TIME for me, unplayable, there's no reason for me to even try anymore until some kind of a fix comes out or a patch (crossing my fingers so that these problems might be fixed and my pleas don't just go ignored)

This patch broke the game for you? ;) The one that, so far, has removed several of the crash-to-desktop bugs? Because a tweek in the code made 12 new bugs pop out?

So you're upset because you believe they broke your favorite toy? Why? because you have to change how you aim? You can't dominate the way you used to or adapt to the change so you're going to leave? ;)

With every change in a Beta, you are going to be required to adapt to the changes. If they tweeked the PPC heat, it was because there are several threads about or containing a 6PPC Stalker build that does 60 damage and usually goes internal with an alpha strike that only generates 88% of heat capacity. Blame that guy <_< (I don't).

I think you should reconsider and possibly try that Stalker build until your Awesome gets tweeked back to, well, awesomeness.)
