And there we have it. I was extraordinarily skeptical of your ability to produce a coherent argument until you used the word fanboi. Now I know your arguments are founded on sound principles and objective reasoning. Clearly bashing people who enjoy the game draws everyone's attention to the fundamental flaws that PGI intentionally puts into their game as a slap in the face to its players. That'll show 'em!

Different animation for the Centurion, and supposedly practically none for the Commando since it is such a simple mech. In short, every machine gets its own cockpit animation for startup.

Very encouraging to see all these reports, as somebody said elsewhere new content is nice but having more people able to play the game with better stability is the first priority.

This is a great patch but I have noticed some things that have changed. To me, it seems like the AC/20 Cats are useless now as the AC/20 is so fragile (at least in the Cat) that it makes no sense to use. The other issue I saw was in 1 round the number killed was off by 1 and I died on my own without overheat warning or out of bounds warning. Not sure what happened there and my death didn't count on their score so I think that screwed up the death counts.

The AC20 was ALWAYS incredibly fragile, so that isn't a change.

How big was it btw?

Also, my FPS have gone absolutely in the toilet pre patch... have any of you actually experienced improvements in perfomance by reinstall, as frankly, that makes little sense. If this patch doesnt fix my performance issues though, im willing to try it.

I can't beleive I'm so titillated by something so simple as the startup sequence but, hell, I am.

Everyone is saying the lag or hit detection is much improved. i have not noticed it super significantly, but so far all the feedback i have heard is super positive. i have only played 3 games so maybe i will notice after a few more
