I seen this on two drops so far. Sometimes a mech in the current drop will move without step animation. What I see are mechs sliding across the ground. This looks pretty cool but is probably a bug.

So far, I have seen a cataphract and a catapult do this.

I patched the game, played a couple of matches and on about my 5th or 6th match today I see this....

The Cataphract was literally gliding across the battlefield in the "shutdown" position. It was still able to fire all of its weapons, move, twist, etc.

Here you go.

I apologize for the shortness of the clip, as I had forgotten to start fraps before playing and had to alt-tab quickly to start it and I must have double pressed capture since what happened I was gawking at for atleast a minute lol.

Seen this too. Seems to be a bug caused after a mech shuts down.

I've seen it as well, I think I know what causes it. The mech that did the hovering had shut down from heat, and it had waited for the auto power up, they did not override the shutdown. Not sure if it happens when you override.

I've seen this in two matches so far, both River City. One with an Awesome and another with a Cataphract.

The mechs where not flying in any way, I think it was just the walking animation that wasn't playing. If you see it try to catch if any of the other animations are affected, it may be that the whole mech model is just stuck like a statue.

Saw this with a Yen Lo, it was not in the shut down position, though. But its legs were not moving, just like in the video.

I just think PGI is stealing mechnics from Heavy Gear or VOTOMS mechs. ^_^
