So I think i just jizzed my pants when I saw the new startup animation ... a bit more of the immersion features that really makes this game stand out amongst the rabble

now I know there still are all kinds off issues to be addressed but personally it makes me hopeful for the future of the game when the devs work on these small but important details and get them this right

since the devs get critized a lot (and justly so at times) I thought I ld launch this thread to (hopefully) show that when they do good work ppl are able to appreciate as well

so plz relate the level of orgasmic enjoyment you experienced when seing the new startup sequence for the first time

I just had to type in allchat "ok .. this startup sequence just made me orgasm"

what about you?

Firstly, I can't believe you just said that in a public forum.

Secondly, yes I did enjoy the start-up sequence, but probably not as much as you.

Thirdly, I finally won my first match in about 11. Someone pointed out it's probably because all the vets come out whenever a new patch rolls around, but holy crap, I've not died so much since I was a newbie in trial mechs. Died 4 times in a row from cockpit hits, tried my 3L and still got cockpitted by a gausscat. Uhg!

LOVE the new startup sequnce B) things that add to immersion make me a very, very happy mechwarrior.

Slightly O/T, has anyone noticed that the U/AC-5 jams significantly more frequently than it used to... Or am I just unlucky?

The new start-up animation is amazing and I love it, however I feel like this is a bells and whistles sort of thing that they should worry about later and focus on getting the core of the game completely up and running first.

It'd be sweet if it were interactive. DCS:Mechwarrior, anyone? I really want a mech simulator, instead of this arcade-style stuff.

First of all: I did hit a running Raven at 465 Meters with my PPC (again possible for me)
And i had in my first to games problems because i leaded to much.
Big thanks, it's not good but it isn't as bad as it has been !
Please keep up the god work.

Second:
All Systems Nominal !
And please get MC from me for other Pants, Weapons etc, i am not a Comstar or Clanwarrior pansy
which carries Coolingsuits !
Give me Shorts and a Cooling Jacket.
I will pay for it to have inferior Equipment !

Third:
Looks great, sometimes a "small" patch gives more than a "big" one.

Come birdy birdy, i have a nice set of M-Lasers for your legs..

rumor has it that hit registration got an improvement and less lag makes for more shots hitting, better pilots

Mech startup sequence makes it difficult to pilot my mech, due to only having one hand free.

Excuse me now, I need a private moment.
