There are still Jenner pilots around that can still do well mind you, just that they certainly are a rarity.

Yes but with less lag shield we can neuter the almighty raven that much faster!

From Lynnepedia, the inaccurate, word-of-mouth mech encyclopedia
For other uses, see Jenners Imbalanced (disambiguation).
The Jenner (JNR-D, F, K) is an extinct Inner Sphere Light Mech (35T) that originated from the halls of House Kurita, although sizable packs have been observed in the ecosystems of other IS Houses as well.
Its closest relative was the also extinct Raven, the two forming the subfamily Lagshieldius of the family of Light Mechs. The closest living relative of the Jenner is the Commando. A Cicada was once incorrectly thought to have been a Jenner in the fringe worlds since added to Comstar's Dark List, leading to a short revival in the sales of post-extinction Jenner merchandise.
<Snip>
... Like many light mechs that evolved in protection of the Lagshield, the Jenner was entirely fearless of Assaults. This fearlessness and its inability to mount ECM made the Jenner easy prey for RAVENS.

Wait what was I doing again?

I admit part of the reason I enjoyed playing the Raven 3L was to target all the Jenners that had been running around with little fear after the removal of collisions. The Jenner was *ALWAYS* my favorite kill in a Raven 3L, it was just so satisfying to kill those annoying little ******* which could no longer be knocked down and killed while face down on the ground.
Now with the updated netcode I really don't need to lead any of the lights to hit them with lasers.
I am proud to say that I helped contribute to the near-extinction of these Jenners. The Jenner kills made up a rather large portion of the XP gained by my Raven 3L.
While the Raven 3L will hold a special place in my mechlab for it's contribution to the near extinction of Jenners it is time to let some of my other mech designs contribute to the destruction of the Jenners. The recent patch with fixes to netcode (or whatever change was made to reduce the necessary lead distance on lights) is now allowing this to be possible. Thanks PGI.

Not any of mine.
Personally, I think the lite pilots who are now running ECM are the ones who couldn't pilot a lite mech anyway.
Or...its just the flavor of the month.Either way...
I STILL run my Jenny, I STILL get solid kills,I STILL make all of you chase me.
Learn and adapt.
Now, hopefully with some implementation to the lagshield issue, maybe you guys will finally stop your little rants.
But no matter what they do to this game , Im still out there, waiting to drop you, IN my Jenny.
