Have The Devs Ever Changed A Mech Loadout Based Off Public Beta Feedback?

Curious whether it's actually happened or whether everything is just tossed out and assumed to be, for the most part, permanent (sans some weapon balancing). Mostly curious about mechs, hardpoints, and the like (I know how many have been asking about ECM and the rest, though as they haven't done anything to that since its release either it only worries one further)

they also don't change mech sizes (they should)

I think there were some hardpoints removed on at least one of the Hunchbacks.

One of the cats, K2 I think, had different hard points in early closed beta, I am pretty positive about that.

They removed some hardpoints from all mechs in closed beta. That is it.

The 4SP also had 4 missile points back in CB too, or am I trippin'? Other than that, I don't believe they have changed one, no.

I think it had at least 3 at one point. I think the 4G had extra energy points too, but then it was changed to 3 ballistic.

Yep the Hunch SP used to have 4 missle hard points . It was definitely out of place and OP.
It was changed in Friends and Family or Early closed beta.

I assume they are willing to change things, I mean why else ask for feedback on the Death's Knell.

There was also the indecent with public outcry against one of the Jenner variants getting ECM. But no, not a whole lot really.

They also didn't allow the JR7-D to get ECM after a vocal outcry.

I wasn't there for all the Closed Beta, but I remember at least one change during my time - removing a energy slot from the Atlas Center Torso. Which was obviously a useless slot anyway.

I seem to remember hearing of other changes.

Come to think of it... I'm pretty sure the AS7-D had 2 energy hardpoints on it's arms for awhile.

The hunchback HBK-4P had 11 laser hardpoints at one time, as opposed to it's current 9.

It was changed to 3 and then to 2.
