Centurion does also, you have it is to the left juuuuust offscreen so you have to use your freelook method to find it. Haven't piloted other mechs with missles on them except atlas. But I never looked for it's light if it has one.

I have been searching for that light in the CN9 cockpit since forever and can t see it - I wonder if I have a graphic issue?

Do you have any chance to get a screenshot and show me exactly where it is in the CN9 ?
I would enormously appreciate that!

Look on the left side of the cockpit for the blue wire leading up to the light. Originally it was just a light shining on one of the cockpit struts, but now it's in a proper socket. I have my FOV at 85 or something so I have a wider view of the cockpit so I can see it. For those with the default FOV, it might be at the very left edge of the screen.

That would make too much sense. lol. I was thinking about doing that as another option for that picture i quickly edited on the first page, instead of lights it just says "OPEN" in big red letters on the side of your windshield frame. and when they're close the red OPEN words just simply turn off.
Above the OPEN indicater, it would say (just painted on) "Bay Doors". kind of just an FYI kinda thing. That way when people are just looking at their cockpit they'll see the white painted on words "Bay Doors:" and underneath the faint, blank word "open". That way there's a chance of players going "Bay doors?? is that word underneat supposed to light up? I can open bay doors?!?!!" and they'll be totally blown away and will try to find out how to do so.

Maybe I'll make one up, or a couple, when i get home this afternoon.

I want this:

They're flashing to show what it would look like when the doors are open and when they are closed. They aren't flashing because the bay doors are being kept open.

Thoughts???

Just hold your free look button and look as far left in your cockpit as you can. you'll see a thick blue wire, follow it and it will lead you to your missle bay light on the frame of your cockpit.

Definatly the location, but mine has a white crisp box around it with a slightly larger light. I'll see if I can get you one.

Not OK ...

green => rdy to fire

yellow => warning ... perhaps you foget something before firing ?

red => no fire admited

that's a common sens ... most people use this ...

It's actually not common sense. Spiralrazor's idea is in use currently ie "Electrician's code".
Green = Safe to work on
Red = Hazardous

I'm sure that's what he was referring to.
