The topic came up on another thread, so I figured I would put it out there for a candidate for the next Hero mech.

It could be a Cicada variant, capable only of running MLs, who's unique bonus would be Garth replacing Betty for the startup sequence.

Any takers?

What they should really do is allow it to mount 2 ECM's and give it 4 missile hardpoints so people have a legitimate reason to scream 'P2W!'

If you're really serious about this...

What about putting energy and MG hardpoints in a crazy circle around the cockpit?

Arrange the beam mounts on the chassis in such a way that it forms a ring, so from first person view when you fire it's a ring of laser energy coming out all around you.

Like maybe 7 points:

2 CT (top middle and bottom middle)
1 head (center)
2 LT (top left, bottom left)
2 RT (top right, bottom right)

Something cool like that? Would also mean 3 energy points in the chest / head, making it a theoretical beastly zombie build.

Another possibly for a hero Cicada, you could put SRM2 launchers in each arm.

Oh! I like that idea. A Cicada with 1 missile in each arm, and then 1 energy head, 2 energy CT.

External loadspeaks, that play Wagner's "Ride of Valkyries" every time when this mech shoots its guns, must also be involved.
