wow what did you change from your idea to mine, also were did you find the statistics (and weights ive been searching and cant find them)? Am I that far off in my adding?
Impressive and congrats to you!

I confirmed the work by hand (and a spreadsheet) using the Battletech Tech Manual.

I used a program called HeavyMetal Pro that I purchased. The C-Bills price is as per prices noted in the books, which may or may not be accurate in MW:O we just do not know. I also didn't change anything, I simply reduced the armor to make it fit in 35 tons. Everything else was done automatically. Engine weight went down a bit, internal structure weight went down a bit, it freed up some weight for the stuff you thought wouldn't fit.

Google is your friend :) Seriously. I couldn't give you a URL without doing the same. It costs around 25$ iirc.

one glich with your program IS double heat sinks i thought were 3 criticle spaces each not 2

Does narc ammo explode? Also does it count as a balistic hardpoint even though it does no damage?

also remember the dev said that everything wil have double the ammo it normally has per ton.
and everyone has double the armor points max total.
so would that effect narc ammo?
i read it somewhere i will try to find a link

They are three, and they do take 3 critical spaces each. It's not a glitch. An engine can hold it's rating divided by 25 in heat sinks without requiring space. A 250 rating engine can thus hold 10 heat sinks of any type without requiring additional space. If I had a 225 rating engine I'd need to use 3 of my 12 remaining criticals for a heat sink, but I don't due to the 250 rating.

As for ammo and narc ammo, no idea. Couldn't tell you.

cool thanks for the info about the engine
PS what is the size of the engine on the cicada and jenner?

280 on the Jenner, on a Cicada it'd be 320

so i get 12 heat sinks for free?
or is it a maximum of 10 and if it is 12 can i then put 4 double heat sinks on instead?
EDIT if using cicada

You don't get them for free, you get 10 for free, anything beyond ten still costs tonnage even if it doesn't take up criticals. So while with a 320 rating engine you can have 12 heat sinks in it without taking criticals, it'd still cost 2 tons of weight for those additional 2 heat sinks.

ok cool thanks for the speedy answers~!

so for double would it be better to use those instead of singles if in the motor?
doubles and singles have same weight just different amount of criticles right?

Doubles and singles both weigh the same yes. Doubles are always more efficient than singles because it takes 5 additional tons to get 30 heat cooling. Even if those 5 heat sinks aren't in the engine, that's 15 critical slots for 5 double heat sinks vs 20 additional crit slots for 20 tons of additional single heat sinks for the same amount of heat dissipation.

In other words, double heat sinks is simply a no brainer.

do you think we can change the type of heat sink that comes in the engine? or have to buy a different version?
EDIT: or different version of the engine

It's been mentioned we can adjust engines up and down, but not sure if we can change regular vs XL type engine.

also NARC would go on a Missile hardpoint, not a ballistic one. Not sure if it still explodes, though. Probably. (the rocket propellant would still be very explosive)

thank you
but do you know if we can change the heat sinks on the engine between double and single?

We don't know yet. There's a lot we don't know how will work exactly here.
