A while back someone explained how to use Google to search the MWO forums but only looking in the specific sub-forum of your choice.

Can anyone remember that post? Or explain how to do it?

Thanks.

<edit>

OK I figured it out.
in google type your search word or words. Then <space> site:http://mwomercs.com/forums/forum/9-general-discussion/

or whatever sub-forum you want to search. Just go to the forum you want, copy the url and paste it into the google search bar after site:

I know when I'm at work, I can't access the forums. Stupid restricted access crap. I google "mwo forums general" and I will get the link for the general section. If I google search "mwo forums general advanced forum search" there is a good chance that I will see a link on the first page to this very thread.

The reason I do this for the general section is because google has a cache which is not blocked by my work's network. As far as navigating goes, it's a matter of right clicking the link, and copy/pasting over the address from the link to the address bar after the part "cache:". It allows me to read the forums but that's pretty much it.

I don't see why they can't simply implement an advanced search function such as every forum ever created uses...
I mean come on, there are free forum packages that have way more/better functionality than we have here
