so, with the prevalence of the AC-20 K2, I've come to a conclusion.

all AC-20 cats should be painted primarily black. for best results, tune your cockpit radio to:

Even with the hipster music I still consider twin-AC20 a severe insult to the pilot's manhood.

It is after all a build that is at the moment conform with the game mechanic so yeah it might be kinda "cheap" but it is a viable build that wrecks enemy mechs with it's mighty pinpoint Alpha strike.

We can only hope that they are going to add a more diverse hardpoint system in the future one with a max. number of critical slots maybe. So that small mechs can't mount big AC's in ballistic slots that are normally for MG's only and so on.

Of course that would seriously lower the number of the available builds but it would also greatly reduce the "How da f*ck can dat weapon fit in that hardpoint?!"-problem. :)

Sure some rather crazy builds can be fun like the AC/20 Raven or something like that. But to be a little bit closer to the base where MWO comes from at least some hardpoint restrictions would be nice.

Lowering the number of technically possible builds can increase the number of tactically available builds.

I cannot fathom any dimension in which "Black Betty" is considered hipster music.

And the only thing better than one AC-20 is two!

Pretty much what I thought when I read that post. Since when is classic rock "hipster music?"
If anything, shouldn't that make it the opposite? On account that classic rockers tend to be very well known.

Okay I'm more of a 80's-90's Scandinavian Metal person, which is why such intensity of "classic rock" is considered hipster-ish. I don't even consider hipster music music.

And yes, two AC20 is good, in the same way how those blue pills gives one a hard-on.

Actually, I'd suggest that Scandinavian Metal from the '80's and '90's is basically hipster metal. Obscure bands with strange names, the most of which noone ever enjoyed actually listening to. I'll stick with good ole Thrash when it comes to Metal.

What's with the fascination with everyone else's *****?

I'm gonna halt this argument right here, but I'm not one of whatever "you" are.

Perpetuity's a *****.

So is being dead, which Is how I seem to spend an inordinate amount of my time in MWO.

When you're from scandinavia (gothenburg more exactly), metal is never hipster, especially not thrash/melodic death/etc (i never got into the whole genre battles). As in, it's like THE most played genre outside of the largest radio stations (and even on them to a large degree) But even internationally, I never got the impression that bands like Bathory, Europe, Hellsongs, Meshuggah, In Flames, Dark Funeral et cetera where considered "obscure".

(though Norwegian black will always be obscure in my book, no matter how many listens to it)

Bathory is THE BEST.
