I had a yellow screen once, and came around a corner to an Atlas firing, I expect him to be the enemy so I unloaded.

He typed something like "Stop shooting me you <REDACTED>" If he had skipped the redacted part he would have skipped an alpha strike. But, yeah, it was entirely my bad, but I had warned my team that I was in yellow mode and trying to just base rush (in an Atlas :-)

Number 3 applies to me, both given and received. Start firing at what at that second is the enemy while he is point blank with a friendly and a second later they teleport swap positions. Happens every other match.

I had the wierdest thing happen the other day where someone I recognized called me a TK'r upon drop. Now I will cop to defending myself with lethal force in the past I can honestly say I have never intentionally killed anyone that hasn't been actively trying to kill me and mine.

That said, occasionally my lasers/bullets/missiles may make unintentional contact with a teammate. I do try to avoid this and I apologize to any teammates who's paint i have scratched and not already apologized to over voice.

I don't feel sorry if players walk into my firing line, esp. if I run a ballistic support or a brawler. If you cross, it's at your own risk, unless you can communicate and tell you're crossing..

I don't feel very sorry if it's a close-in slugfest and things are shaking and accidentally I hit a team member ... **** happens.

I do feel sorry about the Phract yesterday: I overheated, shut down, came back without HUD, forgot to just shut down and power up again and instead just tried to shoot at sth without HUD ... saw that Phract, figured it was hostile, three ASD-RS-Alpha's --> teamkill. Really, my bad..

Dear Spider,

Sorry I shot you in the back and instantly killed you at the start of the match, but you are useless. Your largest contribution to the match would probably have been the enemy raven you gave the other team and I'd rather win or lose the game without you, satisfied with your blood on my hands than see you running around uselessly and doing 56 damage at the end of the match. So I'm sorry, though I'd do it again.

Signed,

Alfonso E. Longjohnson VIX

if you do that without actually playing with that pilot..then you dont deserve the tag you have. when i was playing the spider i was doing 200+ average damage, with spikes over 400 and downs below 100. you are wrong.

y'know just because you may not be able to make a meaningful contribution in a light mech like a spider or commando i have played with pilots that can, and getting there required practice.

Basically my point here is your reasoning is bad and you should perhaps rethink it.

Spiders are bad and you should feel bad for defending them. Also, don't try to lump in commandos to support your ****** argument when I never brought up commandos in the first place, at least they can use ECM+3SSRM which is way better than anything Spider will ever do.

i was once in a match in my atlas
we were on the lower (lake) side of the map...the brawling started in the middle of the caldera... on my way up there i locked and fired my LRM20 at an enemy target... target died before the missiles reach it... when the missiles hit, i was greeted with a kill message... which wasn't enemy...

i want to apologize for that.

I just reported this on the assumption that you are not joking. We all play this game for fun. If your idea of fun is killing team-mates you should play something else.

If you have a team kill and we know that can happen for many accidential reasons, you pay out of your pocket big time. I am concerned if they add friendly fire as a deduction in the game. Fast mechs plenty of action its going to happen they should not take away from you if its not a kill. Sorry got a little off topic. You push button at that moment friendly mech moves between you and enemys mech but no kill who is at fault and who should pay if anyone?
Forget the FBI they are not in charge of anything its homeland security you should call. If you know where they live you will never have to deal with them again. Just read their home page.

Your powers of observation are stunning, the spider is not in fact the same as other mechs, and it is in fact different. Different in ways that could in fact be considered "less effective" than other such mechs, but seeing as how this is a game and people want to try things in the game and can in fact make good things happen from trying new things, you are just wrong in your approach. And i conflated it with the commando because there are many who have stated the same approach towards commandos on drop.

I would ask how it felt to be that wrong, but you would need the self-awareness to understand you were wrong to have an opinion on that. Based on the fact that you are an unabashed troll and likely have much of your self-worth tied up trying to convince people your aren't trying to compensate for other aspects of your life i'm thinking it'll be a while before you can man up and muster enough empathy to recognize other people are in fact people, and different is ok.

TLDR: I'm right and you are wrong... and also probably deeply sad. have a good day ;)

Please write more paragraphs I won't read about how useful the Spider is.

By the way...

Dearest K2,

which unfortunatly walked right into my crosshair while I fired my AC20's, your sacrifice of rear armor will always be remembered.

I had 2 TK's last night.

1 was accidental and occurred in an ugly brawlball. For this one, I am sorry. I didn't catch the name of my fallen comrade.

1 occurred on Frozen city, when our team had a toolbag with a highly offense (and possibly banable) name who TK'd a team mate immediately and then started shooting at another team mate. At that point the entire team turned and blasted him and I ended up getting saddled with the TK.

Indeed.

No, no remorse for you who brings the objectively worst mech in this game to the table. Let you and all your kind know only darkness.
