The only thing that has changed on my computer since this patch is that I have updated my video card drivers.

Since this patch has come out I get VERY poor fps now compared to before.

Before the patch, I was able to play this game on roughly medium settings maintaining a 40+ fps at all times.

Now, I can barely get my fps to maintain 10-15+ though it does go up to 20-30 at times fps on the absolute lowest graphics and resolution.

using nvidia gtx 670M video card, i7 3601qm processor, 2.3 GHz, and 16 gb of corsair vengeance ram. Windows 7 installed.

Other games do not have a similar issue, I can run planetside 2 with 40+ fps on low to med detail settings in a big firefight. borderlands 2, no issue on medium settings, maintaining 60+ fps.most other games I can keep them at 60+ fps on medium to high detail settings.

I have already uninstalled and reinstalled, as well as deleting the user folder before that to try to see if it fixes it.

Had the same issue on a friend's PC. Pre-patch he was at 40-60 fps, now he barely manages 15 if he's lucky.

AMD X4 955
8GB RAM
AMD 7850
Window 64 Enterprise
Windowed mode (yes and no, tried it all)
Resolution: every resolution from 1024x768 through to full 1920x1200

I already mentioned everything you asked.....

except for windows mode and resolution, at least, not exactly.

as I said, I am on the lowest resolution even, still getting poor fps

and no windows mode, full screen.

Ok go to C:\Games\Piranha Games\MechWarrior Online\USER\Shaders and Delete the Cache Directory you see here. (The game will Rebuild it)

Next start the Game Set the Full screen mode to the Native Screen Resolution.
Next Check the V-Sync button
Finilly on System Specifictions Click the Advanced Options, Anti-Aliasing move the slider all the way to the Left so it read "off".
Click Save. Restart MWO and try a Game and report back here.

Ok there are two options left than really that I know of.

Add the Following to the User.cfg file
Spoiler

Two Reinstall the Game (Option 2b is if you have a Friend in your area with a working copy with no FPS problems get there copy of their game and replace yours) It Could be you have some Corrupted Files. (I had to get a Replacement copy of the Texture.pak file after the last patch.)

I was having a similar issue. Ended up being CPU heating..

Try installing CPU-Z, and having a look at what your clock multiplier runs at when you're in, and out of game. (ie, mwo closed totally, and in the middle of a match).
Also
take note of how hot your CPU is running.

The reason I say this; I was having a very similar fps issue, and we narrowed it down to a CPU problem. (GPU had no problems) Ended up replacing the thermal grease on my CPU, and re-seating the heatsink properly. This took my temp down to ~45,

Not saying it'll be the same fix for you, but worth a consideration.

Edit; I also didn't have trouble running other games, like Planetside 2, etc. Just MwO..
