Just recently, lost some EXP and C-Bills b/c I accidentally ran my ally over. As I was in a Dragon and he was in a heavily damaged Raven, he died.
I would like to suggest the option of the person (who perished due to FF) to punish or forgive the person who caused the FF kill.

Ff Forgive/punish

i think you should have to press a button to punish, but forgive should be default.
there have been plenty of cases where i have inadvertently run into a rain of friendly lrm. people should not be punished just because i wasn't paying attention. there will likely be angry players who will always press punish but this will remove some of the inaccuracies of the system.
also on a side note i think repair and rearm should be brought back. the player doing the friendly fire should be charged for associated repair costs and that cbill amount should be given to the victim with the other match awards.

Sure - sounds fine. No reason to think this is a bad idea.
On that note: I TK today - first time. Got stuck on a guy who was stuck on some geometry. The models weren't drawing right so I pressed fire just thrashing to get free. He died, one shot one kill... kinda feel bad, but seeing the -10,000 CB and 150 XP made me happy.
On that note, it would be nice if the punitive values were given to the damaged party and not just removed from the game.

a self-defense timer would be great
after someone shoot an ally there would be a timer that for the next X seconds would allow the victim or everyone in the team to shoot that team member without any punishment.
also the should be like an "honor stat" that worked like pk in MMOs (if you link that stat to the forum you could increase or decrease the honor of someone based on something he said, like "haha today I shoot an ally")

Something akin to EVEs Crine Watch would be cool. Shoot an ally and get flagged for 20 minutes as a person anyone can shoot / kill. Yeah EVE isn't exactly like that but I'm adopting it for MW:O.

....And there I was, targeting the enemy team and managing to allow 2 kills thanks to my spotting. I then turn to engage a 3rd enemy, clearly mangled by LRM fire and finished him off just to see an LBX Cataphract, 2 Atlas, and a Catapult crest the hill. I then turn and try to book it out of there bobbing through the buildings and managing to dodge half of the fire. With my mech's armor leaving more exposed than Victoria Secrets, I manage to come around the side of a building and get broadsided by a team mate. This was enough to kill me (Yes it was Hanith).
I knew clearly that it was an accident so I had no issues with it. This was one of the instances where he should not have been punished for the TK as it happened out of the blue, and lets face it, that was the first time I was TKed by a steamroll. I would like to see a forgive button for those instances.
I had my first TK today.
I was in a close skirmish fighting a Dragon, assisting an ally mech in killing him. My screen was filled with the Dragon's backside so I let loose my SRM salvo. I am not sure if it was a bout with a little lag or if the Dragon juked at just the right second but a few of the SRMs missed the Dragon. The ally that I was assisting ran in behind the dragon and caught the missed shots an died. I felt bad about it and said I was sorry, but the person never responded. This situation would have been interesting to know if I was forgiven or not.
