Oh man! Since InfoWarfare, DHS 2.0 and EMP like PPCs hit the battlefield of MWO, I feel like the Altas, especially the DDC (who can only mount one ECM trololol), is really one of the worst mech in the game. I mean its like a truck, a truck you can hit with every arty strike that can't hide from airstrikes and tank support...

I wish the old times back, where MWO wasn't SpiderWarriorOnline...

Uninstalling now.

So you're uninstalling because you are unable to run probably the most effective mech if not the overpowered Atlas variant of the game. Nicely done.

I guess you were bothered by spiders, haven't thought placing a couple of llas and 2 or even 3 ssrms and counter them with your ECM? With the current netcode a whine thread like this is going far..

I still reliably get near 1000 damage in many matches with my non-DC Atlases still can't hit a Spider at all though.

Funny, the spiders tend to stay away from my Atlas. They might make an initial pass, but after getting hammered, they run away if they survive the first hit. Unless we get totally rolled, I usually get 1-2 kills, and fairly often more. So either:
1) I am an elite pilot who can score with substandard mechs (unlikely)
2) The Atlas is fine (most likely)
When I run a light, I run it like a scout. I don't try to brawl in it. I TAG, I report, I slash and run. The only Atlas pilots that I will fight if I find them alone are ones who have no idea how to handle fighting a light. The rest I stay the heck away from. There are just a lot of bad Atlas pilots out there.

to be honest the atlas does pale to what it has been in past games.

It makes me laugh at how terrible some mechs are going to be when they release.
