The throttle in MWO is really great because you can tell it faster or slower and it will maintain till you adjust it. Some other games I play like Battlefield Heroes have you hold a forward button to move, and I'm looking to change that. Would anyone know of a program that would let me assign a key to toggle pressed or unpressed? I'd hate to give up these hold to move games but they're killin' my hand.

I use Windows 7, for all I know they got somethin' like this built in.

Maybe you could adapt the TAG solution that folks have used to make it into a toggle. Dunno how you would apply that to anything but another CryEngine game tho. Or some sort of keyboard macro work if you have the appropriate gaming keyboard. I also know very little of those.

if oyu have any of the more progressive keyboards (logitech g series razr etc) u can easily make a quick macro that basically holds down until pressed agian. since its built in to the keyboard mouse etc it works with any game
