UAC5's first shoot bug seemed to disappear.
Downside is, that now they eat up ammo like grazy when boated in Muromets :blink:
Still takes extremely sensitive finger to control them though, so "single fire mode" w/out jammings would be nice.

I'm pretty sure that mode is called the normal AC5. :blink:

Correct :D AC5 is in need of love.

My solution would be:
Buff AC5 1.7 -> 1.4
Nerf UAC5 1.1 -> 1.4
Add UAC5 "Single firemode" w/out jammings, changeable w/ keypress or doubletap to dualshot.
Make them use same 30/ton ammo.
Keep weights the same as now.

This way AC5 and UAC5 would be equal in basic mode, and extra tonnage of UAC is explainable with difference in loading mechanism. And UAC5 would be able to use chainfire, right now it works...irrationally :)

Reasonable?

It works perfectly fine now imo. Sometimes you can shred your enemies and at other times you jam and get shredded.

You can chainfire and keep it unjammed slightly faster than then ac/5. The weight/crit spot is a good tradeoff for the perks and quirks.

Love my UAC5's on the Muromets, group fire if they don't jam is awesome.............for the 10 seconds before it depletes 10 tonnes of ammo :huh: . I take the jamming as a sacrifice of that much firepower, that's what the 3 ML are for as backup or after sprewing all the rounds out.

Most scaries thing to UAC5 user is, that dev's remove jamming complitely...hellofa-dakka-dakka for 30s, and you end up with peashooters :lol: After out of ammo, even Death's Knee (with arrow in it) will assrape Muro easily with it's pew-pew-lazors without getting any sweat.

It still jams on first shot although it happens less frequently than before. I've also gotten a lot of jams while not double tapping which shouldn't happen at all.

Confirmed. Yesterday they worked well w/ decent rate of jamming, now they are again almost complitely crap.

The double shot UAC5 bug is not gone. Even in my slowest firing pattern, the double shot can still be reproduced. If I slowly work my way into the 1.1 second cool down, it won't jam but that means I have to constantly fire or else I have to reset my pattern to work the cool down in because of lagg or netcode. I have a 40-60 ping at all times, yet at times it will fire the extra shot and other days I can work my pattern perfectly fine.

Confirmed. UAC5s seem to work as irrationally as Cataphracts armor. One day almost god-like, the other totally one-shot-crap.

If you have multiple do they actually jam less?

Running one I've had it Jam after 1 shot in almost every game, one game it jammed 4 times in a row.

Numbers doesn't count. Same thing if u have one or three, they might jam even before 1st shot. All of them.
