Why should a baddie have any commentary on something they know nothing about. They don't know about Mechwarrior. All they care about is getting entitled to free ****.
That is the world we live in, it isn't a meritcoracy here, and nor should it be. This is a game first and foremost, and if you start catering to only the top echelon, you will isolate and drive away a large percentage of your player base.
Also I reject the fact about good stats = a good player. I for example am an Australian playing a K2-Dual ER PPC cat. With my ping and the inheriant difficulty of those weapons to bein with, I play at a massive disadvantage. Am I going to change what I play? Absolutely not! Because i Love chicken walkers and I love PPC's, so my play style will be reflected poorly upon in my statistics. Does this make m input any less valid? No it doesn't.
You know who chooses the weapons soldiers fight with? It's not the best soldiers fighting on the ground, it's the people who invest time and effort, figuring out what is the most effective thing for everyone.
Edit: Fixed for typo's, there's likely more but it's too hot to bother atm =P

However, given the nature of this thread, it's likely to cause problems. Outright telling the whole gaming population that low-skill players should have zero input in the game development can be considered a "slap-in-the-face" and not really a friendly idea you're just throwing out there.
There is little chance that this thread will exist without generating significant breaches of the Code of Conduct...
So, if you must discuss, please do so nicely

Bad Stats=Bad Player. Quite simple really.
Not so simple. There are plenty of guys whose stats are reflective of the crew they roll with, and not of their individual skill. Players have been padding their stats by PUG stomping since OB began.
I think what you mean by "bad player" is "non-elite." Own your elitism!
FWIW, I think a bad attitude is a much better indicator of a "bad player" than any statistic currently in the game.

Yeah, only letting the best scoring players comment would certainly improve the quality of our feedback.

I like that they have it nailed in WoT. Bad players and Clans have Zero input on how thing operate. That is how it should work here. There should be a group of highly skilled players that have good commutation access to PGI. To tell them what needs fixing if at all. If the Baddies have anything close to that the game will be ruined by the everyone wins crowed. **PUKE!!***
You are a tumor that should be excised.

I'm in the same boat. I'm not good, yet. But, I am getting better. Also, I'm gimped by my underpreforming computer. But, I still try. When I get a good computer. It will be a night and day differance, for me. I will likly have gotten much better at a faster pace, then I would have normal. Since, I am playing with a handycap right now.
Can't realy take anyone to seriusly on the internet. Right now, the only things we can normaly tell here is: If they are an inteligent person and if they know what they are talking about. But, even that is questionable.

Well said. This also kind of discribes the differance between, Newb and Noob.

That seems remarkably silly a thing for them todo as in the real world even someone with a crappy stat (that you have deemed to be the be all, end all of the game) can have valid suggestions that would bring interesting diversity to the game, improve mechanics or indeed add alternate revenue streams.
Unlike you as it turns out.

Take ECMs for example (and no they really haven't balanced ECMs yet they are still in the data gathering phase and the PPC tweak was a tweak to PPCs not really an ECM balance). Garth drops with many groups of leet players and asks many of them their opinions (so they have an idea how the top tier feels), he also does random drops and randomly asks players, he also combs through the many forum posts and PMs. He then organizes this information and forwards it to the game designers who then analyze it and try to come up with solutions and try to interpret the players opinions and figure out why they feel the way that they do and how to modify the weapons. This seems pretty fair. I suppose it would be faster if they simply had a council of say 12 'elite' gamers and simply did what they told them to, but while this would be faster I think the results wouldn't be nearly as good.

This is a troll thread. Game changes are not made via forum posts.
That is all.

he does have a point. and this is pretty much how the united states government work. and the reasoning behind electoral college. So that the people who know what they're doing have a heavier say than the general population.
though i will say PGI plays this game far less than the average consumer. and their vote would really get tossed in the "general population" section

My stats are quite good, I average about 3.5 Kill Death Ratio.
Considering you use K/D-R as a measure of player skill, I highly doubt you're a "good" player. (Although you're probably better than me as I have just started playing a few weeks ago)
This game needs more stats to display. Ex.)
Hit %
Damage ratio
Objectives capped
Etc...
My K/D is .50, which I raised from a .05 in the past week or so. The reason K/D is a poor indicator of skill is because I can run in and grab the finishing blow from my teammates to "fluff" that stat. Damage ratio? Much harder to "fluff" but it can be done. (Mine is now easily above 1.0) Am I a good player based on one or two stats? No. Am I a bad player? You decide.
Devs should consider everyone's input, it's only fair. OP/Broken items are easily found, because people tend to gravitate towards/away from them. (Think ECM (Already nerfed from what I've seen) or PPC's (Semi broken: High risk low reward) as of now)
Just my 2 cents
