Let's look at how flawed this really is.
First, you've got the idea men going into this. Then they have to get lawyers, accountants, artists, and slew of other people I can't even begin to think of to draw the art and come up with the concept stuff to get started. Then they have to find investors willing to buy into this for long term investment. Then they have to find a game publisher. And through all of this, I'm sure I'm missing several hundred if not over 1000 other things all involved in this to get the game going just to get to the programming and coding part. On top of that, they then discovered that the old model they had for the older Mechwarrior 4 games didn't work with the CryEngine. So guess what? Scrap all of that and start from scratch.
Then they start coding and programming again.
Now, for your 60 hours total? What the F*** are you on about with this? You guys have no f'n clue what you are talking about here. And I'm trying to be nice about this, I really, really am. So my apolgies for coming off rough with you here, but seriously, you guys have no clue what you are talking about. NONE.
Not to mention the mistakes they've had to make in re-modeling this game to the CryEngine and then figure out where they went wrong and are still in the process of correcting stuff. Not to mention we BETA testers have been giving them new ideas for how things SHOULD be in this game. For one small example...months ago, I sent them a suggestion ticket that the collision physics would need to be added. Collisions for building, trees, moving over rough terrain, moving over concrete and the fact weather would have an effect of speed and movement, how water would SLOW mechs down, how mechs crashing into other mechs, crashing into trees, buildings, environment (like rock walls), slipping on ice, falling in particular areas, falling from different heights...ALL OF THIS would have to be considered on a physics level in order to incorporate the right damage done to mechs and how much they would take.
Do you even have the slightest clue how much code that's going to take? Do you? No you don't. That alone is huge in itself. MASSIVE. It will take them months to work on. Now...they are also still dealing with netcode issues. They just did movement code which took them a long time to fix. Plus they are going to have to work on the speed barrier rubberbanding issues. Let's not forget to add in a crapload of the other bug fixes, issues and problems they've got.
If it took 1 person from each of your team to get this off the ground as you say...it wouldn't take hours, it would take months.
MONTHS!
I'm sorry, but to be blunt, but you are completely off your rocker.
EDIT: I also completely forgot about them adding in the CLAN material that they are doing off to the side in secret. And the Community Warfare that they are doing as well. Did you even account for this stuff too? And in review of what Bryan posted...I'd change my estimation to YEARS.
