Why do people always say they want to continue supporting PGI? Your money goes to IGP, the publisher.

and to tactics which seems a worthy game to support

but if you read all the people who bought and used their mc for mechs, guess they arent too expensive after all huh?

i guess i could see that if the modules were game breakingly good

Yeah the modules arent but a 1.5 ton 1 crit piece of regular non unlockable equipment IS lol

ECM should be a module

60+50 (Elite founder + 14400 mc offer during black friday). So far I've spent only 9450 MCs on mechbays and an Ilya.

I don't find much else to spend them on, I'm waiting for more hero mechs to chose between and I have yet to activate my premium founder time.. Guess I'll be saving them for Clan mechs, I first want to see how PGI will implement them, hoping that modules and others will be available for Cbills, but I fear they'll ask MCs for them.

About $50. Got the YLW (huge waste), and the Death's Knell (like that one), and lots of mech bays.
edit:
Probably would not buy another hero mech though.

Despite my Founder's tag, the real answer is zero. I haven't used any of my 20,000 from the Founder's mistake.

Realize that I was not buying MC. I was supporting a conceptual idea with a ton of potential. I figured even if it failed I would at least know that I did my part in trying to get what may be the final Mechwarrior game off its feet, which was really important to me. I'm a very disillusioned, bitter, jaded person sometimes, and it was nice to have that sliver of hope that something would actually turn out good. Most have given up but I'm pretty sure that there's plenty of time left, and with lowered expectations, some parts of the game really aren't too bad.

That said I kinda wish I just donated $120 to the MW:LL guys instead.

Bought founders for $60. Nothing else yet. If the devs fully realize their stated vision I can see myself dropping more.

I'm including the buck twenty for founding in my vote. If not, $60.

I think I spent 10bucks at most. Last I checked I still have half of that left in MC, and havent bothered to spend it, nothing I want. And I doubt there will be anytime soon.

$0

Until the game has some basic Multiplayer features (lobby, integrated VOIP, an actual Matchmaker...) and more content, I am not planning on spending anything.

If they get actual matchmaking, VOIP for all and a training range in, I am going on an MC spree....

Top Founders package and another $50 just last night :D

Goes to XP conversion (because I don't want to play EVERY chassis) and Hero mechs (they are my pokemon).

Had to change my vote spent $100 last night. I want the game to go on for a long time so I do not mind dropping money here and there.

My only gripe is that its an odd system I prefer LoLs where its a base + bonus you kind of feel jipped buying MC on here if you spend less then $100.

I'm playing for a month now and love it! (and like to support it)

Missed the Founder packages, but spent 100$ for an Ilya, mech bays and premium...

For F2P i'm checking how much time i'm investing and how much fun it is. Fun and time is a multiple of the last games i bought, so there is plenty room for further investments :D

Still they take me out often, but my kdr is rising slowly...

I havent paid anything beyond my founders and wont until I have fun in the game.

I know, fun is subjective, but I dont pay money for stuff that isnt.

Personally, I wouldn't even be playing if I wasn't having fun.

Im still testing
Thats what we're here to do yes?

I tend to be the guy that runs off trying to get stuck in the map and on random things because not only is it "just a game" we're in "beta" and our job supposedly is to test and try to break the game not to play it.

and no, thats not why Im not having fun. Im not having fun SO Ive switched over to bug hunting/testing mode until the game IS fun to me

My $60 on my founders package, and I've been thinking for the past month about spending a bit more because I've got 1,000 MC left and want to spend a bit of it on paint without losing my ability to buy more mech bays (really, there should be an overpriced way of spending C-bills on mechbays, 4 slots is too rough on my free-playing friends). BUT... I haven't brought myself to do it yet.

I thought I should add in that the $60 I've spent is about the average price for a new game and I've been playing this for quite a while, I definitely feel like I've gotten my money's worth. Has it always been pleasant? No. But it's been a whole lot better than most of the games that I've bought for my Xbox 360. And that piece of crap won't let me play my old copy of Gladius! "Need a hard drive!" upgrade "This game still is unsupported!" FUUUUUUUUUU—!
I'll kill me some xbox with a god damned baseball bat. mumble-grumble

I've spent $80 on MC. Missed founders at end of closed beta too. :D

I'm sitting on over 15k MC though. I would buy a Death's Knell if they had kept the old payout structure. I would buy paint and camo if you could unlock patterns and packages of colors permanently for all mechs... I was buying Premium time until they changed the payout structure. I have a few extra mech bays..
