Must have spent more than £120 by now. Feels like good value in terms of the fun I've had with it.

Just my founders package, $60 I think - which is what I'd usually pay for a standard game. I will probably spend another $50 on MC within the next few months depending on what happens with content.

Have spent nothing yet, and honestly till a few weeks ago, didnt know if I ever would .
Am gonna get some sooner than later though.. time for mechbays.

f2p is insidious .. The amount of money some people spend is shocking, but thats their prerogative.

i am suspecting, pgi is doing better than I would have thought.. Slightly puzzled how they havent filled employment vacancies yet.

$30 for the founders package I bought a week after getting a CBT invite. Liked the game enough to toss a few bucks at PGI, but since then have not really felt the need to spend any more money.

Some days I waffle back and forth over whether or not I want to buy a hero mech or a month's premium time, but the side of me that doesn't wish to has won out every time thus far.

I'm at around $200, and would spend more but I currently have no money.

I spent $50 for some MCs when they had the bonus going. I shortly thereafter figured out what the heck the premium time was and how to use it. Buying 1 month of premium time, basically is like spending 12.99 for a monthly subscription to MWO. Considering all other mmo's Ive played averaged at 15.99, it's really not that expensive. The only cautionary tale is you have to discipline yourself to not spend those MCs on every goody they offer e.g. camo, boobleheads etc, or you can burn thru your MCs pretty fast.

I would have bought the founders package but didn't learn about it till a week after it ended, I wish they would bring it back, or some other collectors edition equivalent , hint hint :P

Spent about $50 on the game so far (In India, this is a LOT of money).

To be fair though I've spent more than that on WoT over time and many times more than that on Star Trek Online over the last three years (I'm a hopeless Trekkie).

Well $30 for a founders pack then upgraded to the next lvl so $30 more to make it $60 total. Right now I ran out of time and MC, but I have all the mechs I wanted and they are mastered. I might buy more if there is a sale or something on MC. But for now Ill just wait and enjoy all that I have.

I always enjoyed MW from the 90's so when I saw the founders pack I jumped at it. When I learned that a couple dozen of my employees did as well, I had the firm purchased about 25 to 30(ish) LF accounts for them to start playing.

Everyone really enjoyed it at first but most lost interest with the account wipes and some of the patch imbalances. Now I still play, when I can, but only one other is a regular player, but he jumps between this and GW2 at the moment. A few of my guys check back occasionally but most told me they'll just wait for the final release before they check it out again.

I've also bought MC during the last sale. Will probably need to do so again soon.

120$ on Founder package.
And I'm NOT spending anything else until Founder mechs i've payed extra 60$ for are in line with Hero models.

Because this feels like cheating, really. I love the game (Artemis and ECM are alot of fun), but I really hate the marketing and attitude towards early supporters.
You really should have done this via Kickstarter, you wouldn't have a greedy publisher cracking a whip and telling you what to do.

30$ so far, got two of the 15$ packages.

Am spending it so far mostly for mechbays, a day of premium time here and there and my DK.

$270 dollars here, including founders.

Spent on:

2 Centurions (OB startup)
Some XP conversion (In retrospect a mistake)
Every hero mech
47 mechbays (Every mech) + MiniUrbie

Still have about 10500 MC

I have lost about 12 KG (About 27 pounds) since I started playing. Down to 85 kg and falling.

That's $10/pound lost.

Value!

I compare MWO to a subscription game, I spent about £60 ($90) on WoW before I quit and a similar amount if not more on EVE, and all I have to show for that now is... nothing
at least with MWO, if I choose to stop paying for a preiod of time I can still not only play all the stuff I have acquired to date, but continue to earn new stuff without paying a cent

the amount of MC I've actually spent in game amounts to less than $10 per month and I feel that I've had way more than $10 per month of entertainment out of it... I'd like to see the MC I have left last me another 3-6 months and will buy more when they have another 20% sale

$257.55 so far with founders, a little more if you count conversion rates and all that.

$220

founder + $100 during the christmas sale...

but i have played this game every single day for 5 months.

i usually burn through $60 worth of games per month so it is worth it.. well worth it...

that said, i would probably curb spending until CW starts -- i already got 38 mechs and i still have 30+days of premium left...

by the time premium is up i will take a long break from the game -- until CW starts.
