Ain't no shame in supporting something you're enjoying. Many people so far seem almost ashamed to admit they spent a lot. I think this game is on the right track, we just all wish it were longer along the lines of having been developed already.

The only reason I haven't spent more, is because there just isn't anything left to buy. I have no interest in the cockpit items that are left and my Brigade's colors are free. I'll end up buying the new Hero, more than likely.

Including Founder's, $145.

$120 for Legendary, bought another $25 to restore what I spent on the Ilya.

Over US$300 for me. I typically buy mechs with MC and use C-Bills for the upgrades I want. Saves time.

About $90 so far. Time compression. I don't have a lot of free time. If I could, I would play every wake moment that I don't have to work. Like, I use to. But, I have other responsabilities, now.

$300.

This game allows to substitute money for the grind to get the stuff you want. Perfect for me as I have no time at all and like this I can play with what I want. I still get stomped, but at least in style.

Yeah none of the cockpit items appeal to me either.

I hear ya. The MOMENT a Hero/Regular Timber Wolf goes on sale, I'll buy one.

Maybe I can work a deal with PGI where I can have early access to the Timber Wolf for like 2 weeks. And anyone who kills me in it will get a 10% discount off purchasing one for the first week it's out.

They can call it the Kill Aegis in his Timber Wolf Promo.

I'm not good at naming these kinda things, but we'll find someone to make up something spiffier.

Lot of responses and no clear cut winner on the poll.

I'm hesitant to spend any more than I already have, at least not on a game in beta. Over $300 seems madness, but hey if you earn it you spend it how you please

Yes. I love this game. I hope it will succeed.
I have spent money for things far worse.

Only $7.50, looking to put down $15 when they do a sale, after that I'll be done for awhile.

I haven't spent a cent, and it'll stay that way until the game is out of Beta and I can decide if the full game is worth spending money on.

Love the game. Spent about $240 or so on it if you don't count the money I spent to get a computer speciffically build to mwo's recommended specs. Compared to a console system's price plus its $65 a new game release price, a new pc and mwo was a far better purchace. i've got fourteen mech bays including my founders.

$320 (including Founder package). I have more money than patience.
I am unwilling to grind XPs in chassis I don't enjoy to earn masters, not when I do it with GPX.
Depending on my C-Bill bankroll I may purchase Mechs with MC since I need C-Bills to gear them up with XL engine, DHS, Endo, and Modules (I don't like to fart around in the Mechlab between each match shuffling components).
I also tend not to sell mechs (21 bays full), because I rotate through most of them.

That being said, after 2000+ games since the start of Open Beta, I dropped down to 3-4 games a week since New Years. The matchmaker, ECM, and lagshield burned me out.

$120 for founders and $15 - $20 a month since open beta, no regrets.

Just the Founders package, nothing additional. And I've only spent my Founders' MC on Mech bays and a 1-time xp conversion so that I wouldn't have to play the crappy Ravens in order to master the 3L. Nothing else is worth buying to me... Hero Mechs are ridiculously expensive, and paint is too expensive for the way it is implemented. (If you got to keep the color and re-use it, even if only on that Mech, then I'd be okay with it. But it's too much for an every time you use it color.)

Spent nothing. I'm one of the few remaining day one open beta testers to make it through the early days doing it the hard way.

I still have over 14k of my original 20k founders MC and I haven't bought any more. I spent on a single mech, a Cicada when I first started, which probably wasn't the best way to spend MC, and the rest of the purchases have just been mechbays aside from 2 accidental paint purchases.

I really just kinda waiting for a hero mech that's worthy to not just earn me extra c-bills, but to also be competition worthy. I haven't seen such a mech released as of yet. TBH, I also hesitate over the cost of MC. I might not grip it so tightly if the hero mechs weren't selling at such a premium.
