From the looks of it, no one's going, "Yeah *******, I spent more money than King Midas *************!!! Go home poors!!!". I see people stating how much they spent with reasons on why they did. Looks to be a decent thread so far.

Approximately $1300. $120 on my founders pack, the rest on a new PC to run the game. ;-)

I have only been playing for around 2 weeks or so, but I've spend a total of about $45 on two purchases. Did some XP to GXP converting, purchased some Mech Bays, bought the Flame, and 30 days premium time. As the game gets more feature filled I am certain I will spend more as well! I really wish I had known about this game early enough to get Founders....

Lost track...but probably around $200.

Spent almost entirely on XP conversion, mechs and mech bays.

keeps track of all your MC transactions.. buying it and spending it.

That is awesome, to bad it shows every color change with the PC gamer stuff as a transaction.

Is there a reason links like this are not easily available on this site? Why do we have to dig for them?

Bought the cheap founders, haven't spent a dime since. Won't spend a dime at the current rates.

I will continue to let you suckers spend hundreds of dollars to keep the game going. As long as this many people are willing to spend the amounts I've seen listed here the prices will most certainly never go down, so I might as well accept now that I will forever be a f2p player.

I want to spend money, really I do, but no way I can justify hundreds of dollars on this game.

More than I should have, lol. Started the game after one of the other staff members at the SWGEmu project mentioned it, got instantly "Oh crap this is cool but I want more mech variety now and some premium time!" about it and dumped more than I would have as a top-level Founder.

$120 total. $60 for founders, then $30 for MC twice, each time to buy a hero mech.

I have bought all the Hero mechs except the Fang, because they all looked fun. I have spent a few thousand MC on XP conversions, bought 16 mechbays, and early on I bought a D-DC so I could master my Founders Atlas faster.

Overall I have paid about $30 more than if I had bought a MMO and payed $15 a month to play it for the same amount of time.

My understanding of Free to Play economics is that many developers are trying to get at least $20-$25 a month average from paying players and have 10%-20% of players pay. No idea of MWO has targets in this range or not.

Absolutely nothing, and it'll stay that way until they figure out a sane pricing structure for premium content. About the only thing even remotely evocative to me is getting some more garage slots so I can actually make use of the pilot xp system.

Or those who are proud at putting others down for not spending money.

Plopped down about $225 myself. Founders plus extra MC for bays, mechs etc. VERY happy to support the development of this great game and also to be able to use real $ to replace in-game grind time, as I actually HAVE a job in real life and can't game all do, so happy to offset gaming time with $ in order to either stay competitive or gain shortcuts (outright buy Mechs rather than grind for them) etc.

However, am now at the point where individual mech prices and especially customization is too much. I don't care to spend more than $5-6 for a single mech anymore - and certainly not the $24 for a 100-ton Hero... nor do I want to pay $5 to fully customize a mech. At best, I'll customize 1 mech for $5 (doubt it)...

However, I know that if it was around $1 to fully customize a mech, I'd probably paint ALL my mechs... and with 16 in hangars, that means they have a choice of getting $0-$4 out of me to do nothing or MAYBE one mech, or they coudld drop customization prices and I'd "paint" all my mechs at $1 each and gladly pay $16 to paint all 16....

A whole 7$ so I could get more mech bays. I don't even understand how some people have spent over 120$ let alone over 300$?? I feel like there's not even 300$ worth of trinkets to purchase in game o_0

Not proud of anything. I just can't imagine spending that kind of money on a game, much less one that is content lacking.

Let me put it this way, I like bread. I like potato bread alot, but I've been to the store and I know how much it costs. As much as I love potato bread, I'm not paying $30 a loaf for it while I can still get regular bread for $3. I want to buy it, but I can't justify giving money to someone that in my opinion is a crook. Sorry.

If you guys are ok with the current costs.....by all means have at it. I don't understand how you can be ok with it, but it is your money going to PGI not mine.

Does that make you feel a little better Bguk? I didn't mean to hurt your little feelings.

No. I'm crying in the corner holding my wubbie I've had since I left the crib. Actually, I never left the crib. That's where I'm crying. The corner of my crib.

Just Founder's package. I want to buy more, but as long as the threat of moron 3rd person play still hanging over us, I won't.
