I have been tempted in the past to spend more. I am glad i didn t.
Since when they removed R&R this game took a swing in a direction it seems no more connected to what were the original promises when we were invited to be part of CB.
Sure, "It is BETA" and "It is a work in Progress" and everything will fianlly take place. I actually do agree with that.
However my money is not BETA Dollars, they work as a Retail Dollar Bill when i get in a store to buy something, therefore I will exchange my other Retail Dollars for Retail MWO when finally it will come out.
And I want to be "reasonable". when they will deliver what makes sense to be called GAME, talking about Maps, CW, Game modes... then i will be more than happy to open my wallet back to them.
Till then, ZIP

Just a heads up. I have only bought the Flame Hero mech as far as they are concened and stopped paying for repaints. However a chunck of my standard mechs were MC so I could use cbills for design. That slowed down considerably because I have my mains pretty much how I want them so now I usually sit on about 20 mil CBills for week before I end up trying various other builds. As of Feb 19th Im sure my cbills will be next to nada again.

That gave me 20,000 MC ($80 worth) for the Founders and 25,000 MC for the Sale for a total of 45,000 MC. At 250MC/$1, I have $180 worth of value, and currently I have 28,696 MC left, which means I spent 16,304 ($65.22) of that already ingame.

I'm finding the prices to be too high for what you get.
Will probably buy MC to get a Mad Cat once it's in.

perhaps I might have invested in some more MC had I not dropped about $525 on new pc uppgrades (new i5chip, motherboard, RAM) basically to play this game because the core duo experiance wasn't cutting it for me.

Ain't no shame in supporting something you're enjoying.

30 bucks is usually the most I pay for a video game (in fact I rarely go above 20), so I figured it'd be an acceptable amount to invest in MWO.
Sadly, all items turned out to be ridiculously overpriced, so I didn't get anywhere as much as I'd have liked out of my MC. And since I've already invested so much, I doubt I'll buy any more... especially considering it wouldn't give me much in return. I think blowing 20 dollars on a single mech is a ****-poor investment of my money; I could buy entire *games* for that amount.
EDIT: poll needs fixing, it lets you pick multiple options.
