Thats right....ITS ANOTHER ECM THREAD!

Though not really, this is more about the lack of immersion ECM has caused (In regards to lights) rather then the debate of it's balance.

Anyway, I was thinking the other night about letting a Jenner variant have ECM. Not the D. The world would plunge into chaos if that little ***hole had ECM.

But what about the K? It has 1 less missile hardpoint but an extra laser, plus JJ capable, and equal on module's (When compared to the 3L). Do you think giving the K ECM will result in less 3L's running around, make no difference, cause a shift in balance back in favor of the Jenner, or would you rather do Stifler's mom?

it will not happen since there are no variants of the jenner with ecm in the games timeline.

To be fair, I'm pretty sure the Spider doesn't get it until 3085. And I don't think the Cicada ever did.

After a quick search on commando's, they never got ECM either.
Surely you're not implying that only Raven's should get ECM

They should give it to the D like they were going to in the first place. It would not change much really, and it really would not have any advantage over the 3L.

None of the Commandos ever had it. Yet here they are. Yes I think Jenners should get it at this point. It only has 1 Streak hard point so it wouldn't be anywhere near as obnoxious as the Raven or Commando.

to be fair; ecm shouldnt be blocking streaks for three years but hey, we dont need a exact timeline right?

No. Just nerf ECM.

Jenners have speed, weapons and jump jets

Raven has speed, weapons, and ECM

Spider has speed, ecm and jump jets

The point is, ecm is supposed to be just a special thing, like jumpjets.

The difference is, jumpjets suck, and ECM is completely overpowered.

Nerf ECM, fix jump jets, and then we don't need more superfluous polls.
