Hey Everyone!

We’d excited to announce a sale this week we think you will all love, especially our new players! So first, let’s check out a situation.

You’re a new player. You just got yourself through the cadet program, and you want two Trial Mechs so you can customize them… but you can only afford one…

Bring on the TRIAL BY FIRE sale! Now, you can buy the Trial Mech variant(s) you want (AWS-8V Awesome, CTF-3D Cataphract, HBK-4SP Hunchback, SDR-5V Spider), for FIFTY PERCENT OFF the MC price. Yeah, I said 50%. 50. Half of one-hundred. No seriously stop asking, yes it is true.

Want the Hunchback HBK-4SP (and you should) and the Spider SDR-5V (twelve jumpjets!)? Buy the $6.95 package and you can get both!

This sale will be on this weekend, from Feb 1st at 10am PST till Feb 4th at 10am PST. So act now, MechWarrior!

(Also just to let you all know, the servers will be going down today at 10:00am to ready this, so be prepared!)

Now that is how you get people to buy things :D Hey, you guys should maybe just make this a common practice, that any mech in trial as they rotate are always 50% off for that duration!

The CTF-3D and HBK-4SP are two of the best mechs in the game!

This is a step in the right direction.

Lower price points means a lot to much of your fan base.

Still wouldn't buy non-hero 'Mechs with MC, but this is probably gonna earn some MC purchases from the newer players who decide they like the 3D and 4SP (both great 'mechs I'd reckon).

This is an awesome idea!

Seriously, you should do this the last weekend before you switch out the trial mechs each time.

Awesome, THIS is what you guys should be doing. I already have 10 mechs but I may just participate in this sale just to show you guys you're doing things right. I hope you see record sales from this - high prices do not do well in online games.

That is a pretty good deal. But you got my hopes up when I glanced at 50% off MC I thought it meant 50% off the price of MC. I'm almost out of mechbay money and need some MC

It serves to further remind me that I wish the cash shop prices simply listed them in their dollar value.

At the lowest exchange rate (the $6.95 package) that puts the 4SP at just around $4. The CTF 3D comes out to around $11. both get incrementally better dollar price if you buy bigger packages.

Is the front-page graphic actually to scale? I mean, a Cataphract is 70 tons, an Awesome 80, which is about and 11.5% difference in mass, which would be achieved by a 5% increase in width, height, and depth.

Spider is 30, Awesome is 80, a mass difference of 166%, which would be achieved by a 65% increase in width, height, and depth.

The awesome just looks way too big for its weight. How does it compare in size to the Atlas?

I like how that picture (maybe) shows the size differences between those mechs. Very cool pic.

Also @ Redshift: your price list is here -> http://mwomercs.com/...35#entry1590335 (Though I won't be updating it for the weekend only.)
