50% off on trial mechs? I don´t understand. Trial mechs are free, at least last time I checked (closed beta). WTF?????

Please explain why this is so great? 50% off zero...

@mackinsen: All Trials can allways be bought by MC in the mechbay. These prices are down by 50%.

Right, basically this is a way to pick up the trial mechs if you've been piling up XP on them but hesitant to buy them outright. Now you can for 50% off, at least with MC. You'd still be better off just grinding them and buying with c-bills and using the MC for things that can only be purchased with MC like Premium Time or MechBays or Hero Mechs.

Nice. I'm going to have to give this some serious thought. Now, if the rotation would happen more often you may be onto something. It's good to see PGI is trying new things with the economy other than charge has high as possible for everything.

Thanks. This is a good idea... I just bought 3 of the 4 (not a fan of LIGHT Mechs) so I think this is a great deal! I'm not a new player, but a good deal is still a good deal.

Excuse me but it is only 2:23AM on Feb 4 and I am on and in game I bought the 6.95 package at the Catapult and Awesome are not any cheaper I can not BUY them at all what is the big deal?

look at the codes. Only the same mechs like the trials are cheaper. The prob is that these Trials are normally the most expensive config of the class.

and for the 6,95 Package you can get the spider and the Hunch together

I am a goon, and I am saying that all of these mechs, except the Spider, are all good. The Spider has some issues, but a decent pilot can make it workable. Not up to the level of Streak-ECM-Commando or Streak-ECM-Raven or any of the Jenners, but it's still okay-ish. I'd also like to make some quick reminders:

DO:

• Do replace the LBX/10 on the Cataphract-D immediately. It's a horrible gun at the moment.
  
• Do fit Endo Steel on these whenever possible. The weight savings is really nice.
  
• Remember that the Cataphract-D has an XL engine. You will die if someone takes out a side torso. Don't brawl with an XL engine.

DON'T:

• Do not fit LRMs on the HBK-4SP. This is a Bad Idea.
  
• Do not fit Small Pulse Lasers on anything. Small Pulse Lasers are bad and using them actually subtracts utility from your mech.
  
• Do not fit PPCs on the Awesome-V. You are better served with Large Lasers.
  
• Do not fit Ferro Fiberous Armor unless you know what you're doing. Ferro Fiberous is inferior to Endo Steel on every mech.

Hero mechs do not get an XP bonus. Neither do founders mechs.

The only way to earn an XP bonus is with premium time.
