Actually, we haev been experimenting with a 4SP LRM Hunchie and it works surprizingly well... you just have to learn not to spam like there is no tomorrow and you can still get loads of Kills and damage onto the target.

The advantage of a Medium LRM boat is that you are much more mobile than any other LRM boat out there and you are matched against another medium probably in brawling distance to your team. This also leaves your team with a brawler heavy or Assault instead of parking one of them in the back row.

Close range defencively, the 4SP LRM Hunchie is actually better off than a Catapult, as you have 2 Med lasers in the arms which means you dont have to wait till the circling light is directly in fronto of yoru torso Crossharis to shoot.

But... as with any boating mech... you need a team to support you... but this isnt anythgin new for an LRM Mech.
