I have seen this several times now where mechs will stop walking and will just slide across the map stuck in the same position they were in when they stopped walking.

I will try and fraps this next time i see it so you can see

I don't think they need a Fraps of it. It's very common and I expect they have ample evidence of it already.

I've already submitted Fraps evidence of the bug in a thread that was notated by support.

Now, if we only had a skiing mech to take advantage of the effect...

Mentioned it here: http://mwomercs.com/...k/page__st__120 including that it seems to happen only in games where I am lagged. No lag, no sliding.

I think it has to do with overheating, maybe not, though. Makes me think of the Lolerskates in Heavy Gear xD

I havent seen another mech do it, but i've experienced it in my own mech. Walking over one of the small hills near north base forrest lake, I hit a bit where the mech would normally stumble a bit and I got locked into a smooth strafing slide to my left, which ended by depositing my mech off the left side of the hill and i proceeded to walk around it.

So its not just a visual thing the mechs really do follow that path.

anyone who has tried to exploit the pathing in a recent elder scrolls game (morrowind/oblivion/skyrim walking along near vertical surfaces) will know exactly what thats like.
