if i have to pick a preferation, i like maps that are cover heavy more than wide and open fields... although even those have their pros

But, for some reason, i thought outlandish maps would be more interesting, lunar base, asteroid.. planet rings.
Because: so far MW:o has maps that resemble, or look like scenery we can find on our beloved earth (not counting caustic)
I would wish for something... more space, more...outlands something that is gives the feeling that we are not on our own timeline.

Urban battles are best.
The lower City section in River City is my favourite area atm.

However, one map I would love to see would be a Battlemech production facility. Mainly for CW purposes so it feels like you're fighting over something important.
It would be cool to have enter-able hangers or factories with gantrees with part constructed mechs, or rows of Mechs powered down enabling players to power down next to them to blend in (depending on paint schemes) although heat would still give you away. PGI could also tease players by placing the model of the next mech to be released in the factory somewhere.

Sorry, you may need to delete your vote and vote again if you like these. The goal of this thread is to inform PGI what the community wants in terms of maps (trying to make them all unique environments).

I think my favorite concept is the underground caves, followed by badlands and marshes. We really need destructible trees for marshes though.
