Yeah, like barbaric soul said can we please get pictures of those sub menu's.
Also the first thing to do there is bump that multiplier from 20 up to 21 if its not locked at 20.

That will bump you to 2.79ghz to start. But the meat of the overclock is in the submenu.

A safe overclock to try with low chance of failure is bumping the dynamic CPU vcore offset to +40mv and setting the cpu BCLK to 160. That will yield 3.2ghz and should be very stable at that low voltage. Most people seem to be hitting the hump around 3.4ghz where the voltage jump needs to be more substantial. If you put the BCLK to 170 you will be in the 3.4ghz range.

I would say try the vcore offset of +40 mv and the bclk of 170. If you get a BSOD while gaming or testing drop the bclk down 5 mhz at a time until stable. Good luck.

Because its an alien ware mobo i wouldn't do any bios flash's.

And no problem, glad to see we could prevent an un-neccessary upgrade. Happy fraggin!

COMRADE BUBBAFETT, IT IS GOOD TO HEAR THAT YOUR COMPUTING PROBLEMS HAVE BEEN SOLVED. I FEEL IT IS MY DUTY AS A FELLOW REVOLUTIONARY TO INFORM YOU THAT YOU REALLY ****** UP BY PURCHASING A COMPUTER FROM THE CORPORATE PIG-DOGS AT ALIENWARE. THIS GAME CAN RUN AT 60 FPS ON EVEN A MIDDLING COMPUTATIONAL DEVICE. FOR EXAMPLE, I RUN MWO AT 60 FPS ON A RIG I BUILT MANY SEASONS AGO, IT ONLY COST ME 800 OF THE AMERICAN FIAT CURRENCY. A 560 TI IS SUFFICIENT.
