[Stingray Productions]

Dear Mechwarrior Fans,
It has come to attention that many fans have shown interest in Mechwarrior paper models. There was once a thread (though I can't find it anymore) about fans wanting the models from the Mechwarrior 2 series. So, I decided to work on it and was able to create a few Mechwarrior 2 Paper Models myself.

Here is the first one I've done. It's the Marauder IIC:



- just used Acrylic Paints for the Camo.

And the two sections showing what I did to make it so the torsos turn.



If any of you are interested, maybe leave a reply on this topic and I might be able to send you the .pdo files (opened with pepakura). So far I have created the .pdo models for the Marauder IIC, Timberwolf, Kit Fox, Firemoth, and Dragon of Mechwarrior 2.

I'd say it looks pretty IIC'ish provided there wasn't too much visual difference between the two Marauders either way.

Awesome! I've just downloaded all of the pdos (Except the Dragon, my firewall doesn't like it for some reason.) and will figure out how to make them. I've never done paper models before, but the nostalgia value would be great once they're done.

I'll post pics if/when I finish them.

Great! There are only a few right now, but I'm continually working on them. My plan is to create PDO's for every mech that existed in the MW2 Computer Games in 8", 10", and 12". However, if anyone wants to make a request that I finish a certain model sooner I'll be glad to work on that mech next..... I'll also look at the Dragon, make sure it wasn't something I did wrong on my part.

haven't been doin this stuff at all lately, sorry. Well, since you asked I decided to do another design. It's a custom design of the marauder, and I uploaded it under my "Custom Designs" folder.

there's a .txt document "Note Concerning Paper models." Just read it, it talks about making these models. They're really quite easy to make.
