One of my Stalkers really performed last night. My best game so far. It deserves a good paint job :D

Here is what I think of the camo scheme.

Before: Straight up rip-off.

Now: Still a rip-off, assuming that C-Bill unlockable paints are very few in number and most will require MC and most will be premium.

Additional problem is that it only unlocks the colors per type instead for every mech.

I'd buy mechbays instead thanks.

Well I pass, I think it's still highly overpriced, step in good direction but still way to much just for colors and patterns.
I said before, its not how much money we have, not how much we are willing to spend... it's just how much the thing is worth paying for?

What i read only the pattern are not universal. Colors should be useable for all mechs.

I understand that if I paint all my mechs (I have catapults and centurions) the same way, I will save a lot of bucks, in comparison to give each one a different paintjob?

You listened to your player-base and made a solid decision.

I had not spent any MC (intentionally) on paint jobs, that will change now.

Well done

Now if they would just give you the ability to paint the mech by parts, or at least a suit/hair/face color scheme. Then I could finally paint an Atlas in a purple suit with green hair and a white face. TheJokerBot lives!

I haven't spent any MC whatsoever at this point, the old prices for colors were rather discouraging in that regard.

Huh? You can see how the colors look just fine before purchasing them with the current UI. The purchase doesn't happen until you click save.

What? It was never like that. You could select colors, see what they are, and you had to hit "save mech" or whatever before it actually bought the colors.

I wasn't talking specifically about the camo spec UI; I was talking about their track record in UI design in general. But mainly I was just being emo.

The PC Gamer skin is not universal. It's only usable on the Atlas, Jenner, Hunchback, Catapult, Centurion, Awesome, Commando, and Dragon.

Another update to the PC Gamer colors:

THEY ARE NOW THE COLORS THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO BE!!!

You may recall when they first implemented customizable paint jobs, that the PC Gamer colors changed from bright red, medium gray, and black to a dark blood red, dark charcoal grey, and some sort of matte black.

Now the PC Gamer colors are now again a bright red, and a rich dark black (I can't really distinguish it from the premium Obsidian Black), and the grey is more of a light grey - almost white (which is more true to PC Gamer's actual colors of Red, Black, and White)

Thank you for fixing these colors!
