[Magus2]

Hey, my registerd name was changed from Màgûš to Magus2 without warning, would like to have it changed to something else... like I was looking at the member list, and there's no Magus... may I mave that one? or change it to The Magus, or Adeptus Magus? plz? or Magus420 or Magus666 or 1 but 2... thats the worst number to be with Magus in front of it

Same thing happened to pewpew. They're cracking down on special characters.

Is there any way to allow us to change to something without special characters so we dont have some number we don't want at the end?

ok firstly, they made mention somewhere that you cannot use characters with accents on them, and 666 i do not think is an option on ANY name, since it has certain connotations that are less than acceptable by some people.

There are (or were) a couple threads in the Website support section about it..I haven't seen anything saying you can have it changed again, but it probably wouldn't hurt to post in that section, and ask.

i would guess, maybe just make a new account with the name of your choice so long as it has no 'special' characters. I also think they dont want such characters because not everyone knows how to add them, and maybe has to do with manual reporting once the game is active? just guessing here.

thats what happens when you use those ***** symbols above your vowels!

Seems like your not the only one. And I don't think it is just people with accents. I have to admit, I'm not fond of this, Id devs want to force name changes now they should offer the chance for that person to pick a new name.

It sucks, but I'm just gonna deal with it for now. Maybe they'll let us do a namechange at a later date.

Your name was changed as it contained an invalid character that was accidentally allowed to be passed in.

Unfortunately the name 'Magus' was already taken. Thus a 2 was added to your name.

We are not allowing name changes at this time. As with everything; watch this forum for an announcement if we do allow any changes.
