[Hanse Davion Kerensky]

Hi guys I’m kind of new to MWO (even though I’ve been playing BTech for the last 25 years or so ), and I’ve just been getting out of the trial mechs now and I had a thought about Clan mechs.

I’m a massive fan of the Clans (go Wolf or go Home), but I’ve noticed so few warriors try to play the game with any skill, or to challenge themselves! When I try to duel other mechwarriors they often gang up on me, or shoot me when I’ve shutdown. So this got me thinking, how will the Clans and their awesome mechs be implemented over the next year?

PGI should program some sort of challenge, or target calling option, that lets you call your target and stick to your own rules of Zellbrigen (even if the other mechwarriors are dezgra). If you do stick to Zell then you earn “honor-points” or “standing”, and you can use those points to buy clan mechs when they come out. That’ll keep the IS freebirths from getting their filthy hands on real tech. What do you guys/gals think?

if you shutdown, its your fault, even clanners dont hold back while their enemies recover from their own mistakes.

Pff, clanners...

Clanners do not have a money based economy, so earning c-bills would not be very...canon. i guess honor points or something like that would be logical.

this calling option in particular sounds pretty cool imho.

Clanners absolutely WILL fire on shut down enemies. As for dueling, meh. It goes against the entire idea of teamwork.

The Clan Invasion in-game won't happen until November of next year, when the Ilkhan is reinstated.

By the rate this game develops, the Clan invasion will be over by the time they even introduce Community Warfare. It was a huge mistake on PGI's part to peg 2013 to BT year 3050. They're not even 30% done with the contents yet. As it stands right now, the game is a glorified 8v8 deathmatch with 4 maps.

If you mean that we won't see the entire TRO 3050 line up, then I agree with you.
Though we will probably get news updates that Icar, Somerset, Trellwan, etc have fallen to a mysterious alien invader.
