Name one of every weight class.
You can look up potential mech designs here if you are uncertain about the production years of some designs.
Here's my picks:
Light: Kit Fox/Uller
Medium: Nova/Black Hawk
Heavy: Timber Wolf/Mad Cat
Assault: Dire Wolf/Daishi

When armor and structure can be modified it is not really important wich mech you will see, because its just a hull.
Without those modifications...the Kit Fox - has nearly any relevant armor - so i expect a Fire Moth or Mist Lynx.
Nova... sounds good for me, although StormCrow will be a interesting choice.
Timber Wolf...of course
Dire Wolf... well i never liked the idea of a slow clan omni... in my eyes not a single clan mech should be slower as 60kph.

It makes Big Badda-Boom!
(I probably wouldn't pilot it though ^^)

Agreed. Timber Wolf for Heavy is most likly due to the iconic nature of it... Probably be the first mech they announce. I mean for the announcement of the game was the Atlas, the other iconic mech.

And where is the Zeus?
What mech was on the Cover of Maximum Tech?
What mech was on the RuleBook 4th Edition? (towering over a MadCat)
Where is my Zeus?
When Clansman got their MadCat Where is my Zeus?
Sry...don't want to turn this topic in Where is my Zeus? whinning.

In fact I suspect that for every IS mech they have released, they have also done a clan mech of the same weight class but simply not released it. You did notice the missile pods over the shoulder of your mech on your paper doll didn't you? You will see it on the shutdown sequence briefly...now why would they add that in now???

When they bring...wait 15 Mechs at the same time ....they should do the same with all the remaining IS mechs...
well under this circumstance i'm really affraid off:

the last sentence.
March a good month for new users?
Maybe you have to be a new user to use Clan Tech

Because quite a number of mechs both IS and Clan have shoulder mounted equipment.

I would love for them to do that. I very much hope you are right!
I do not see the nova being a initial release if they stagger it though.
People QQ with the 7 energy hardpoints of the 4P... Nova has 12... OHHH the QQing will be amusing when they release the Nova.

Balance is the lack/poor torso twisting capability.

I'm guessing that they atleast have concepts for most of them.
Though it doesn't seem too far fetched to have models for half a dozen of them, the only problem here would be the balancing of Clan tech.

The Catapult takes arm damage when you fire at the missile boxes, besides, we don't know what those boxes on the paper doll count for. They might just as well be a indicator for a XL engine.
