I hope that PGI takes all the negative reactions to heart, not to hurt them and their ideas but to show them that a MMO is made for the players and that though people may still pay MC for colors everyone would much rather use CBills.

It's great to see that there's been an awesome expansion to customization but.... What happened to all my sweet paint jobs I already had? Sure, I was refunded the MC for it but.... That's only 1000 MC or so. I had a Cataphract with the Phranken camo pattern AND colors, and it's 3k MC just to get that. Sure it unlocks the colors for everything... but I can't have it now. Similarly, I had a Cicada with purple and black paint on it. Both are 1k MC now and I've only got a thousand to work with. Anyone else have a similar issue?

Colors system:
Love how color unlock's work.

Pricing is a bit bad. 1000mc is insane 500mc is really pushing it. If every color were 250 you could have made AT LEAST 750mc from me, maybe 1250mc for a second scheme I had in mind. However you have made nothing because of the primary color I want being outside what I am willing to spend.

Camo system:
Single unlock system for 75MC is perfect and at the perfect price point.

Chassis unlock is garbage. I suggest making it an unlock for the chassis at half the price or double the price and unlock it for all mechs.

MC:
Need a way to gift MC or buy MC for people I have 2 friends that would be playing if gifting MC for another account could be done somehow.

Animations:
Sensors are the blue button weapons are the red button, on a number of mechs this is backwards. yes this is totally a silly thing

Gameplay:
A+ love how lasers and missiles and ppcs feel cannot wait for flight path changes.

jumpjets feel better now, could use .25 more seconds airtime to give it that perfect blend.

MISC:
as a suggest multiple manufacturer types of auto cannons would be a cool addition, An AC/20 that did its 20 points over a four shot burst would allow the feel off each mech to be different in the same way that missile tube counts on mech chassis do for missiles.

Hells no. I'll just grind and leave everything Olive drab like any other F2P. Not dropping money like that on a paint job that I only get to see in the mechbay. Bad show, MWO. Bad show.

You can rent a pattern for 75 MC, and buy some half off camo paint. Seems like a good value to me. I spent 2500 MC and a few mil in Cbills and already had the PC Gamer colors. I don't need anymore.

It was pretty crappy for them to make it so you didn't get phranken colors with the pattern though.

I can not express how upset I am that your company has now "retroactively" changed the prices on colors and paint schemes for mechs.

I specifically spent real world cash on my favorite mech paint schemes and i log in to find that i have been "refunded" my cost.

Here is the problem and why i will be contacting my credit card company for a chargeback:

the real money i spent previously was to purchase the paint schemes i liked.
After the "refund" i can no longer afford even ONE of the paint jobs i had previously purchased.

How can you commit fraud such as this?

How can the "refund" of 5 painted mechs result in not being able to afford EVEN ONE OF THE previous paint schemes?


I am sure that my Bank will agree based on the following legal information about internet purchases:

1, make my mechs look the way they did when i first purchased the paints with real money.
OR
2, i want my REAL WORLD cash back as your company has fraudulently changed prices retroactively, THEN instead of giving your customers their CASH back, you simply converted it to "in game money"

Its unbelievably that your company thinks it can get away with fraud such as this, are you aware that what your company did is CLEARLY FRAUD ?

If enough people contact for chargebacks your company will be unable to process ANY credit card transactions and will wither and die like it deserves when you treat paying customers with fraudualent business practises.

i will wait 3 days for your return email or message before i contact my bank.

Ok...

1. The price on the paint is stupid. I'm using such a word because there should be an option to buy paint with c bills...

2. Please work it out!!! Please! Make it worth it... Make the c bill price ridiculously high so that people who want it right away can buy it with real money. This would allow other people, like myself, to buy the paint with c bills.

3. Way better. Way, way better. Please?! Everyone will complain until you make such an action! Everyone will think it sucks! Please! I'll complain with the hordes! Complain! I could keep on going like everyone else is about to... I'm not though, coz I'm bored now. Please, MWO team, do something... for the players, man. I haven't spent any money on the game except converting mech xp to general xp. I have 2 atlas variants. I purchased them with c bills, and it feels good to know that I can do such a thing... Colours on the other hand, are a lesser issue and should be way better... there should be an rgb scale so you can pick your colour and you shouldn't even need to pay for it with any currency you greedy.... rrrrr. I'll leave it at that.

Folks.. Most of the colors will not be free, nor should they be. This is a FTP game, they have to make payroll somehow.

They simply need to bring the color / pattern prices back in line with reality. Sure, it isn't required to play, but it makes it more fun, and if you drop with a lance that uses a specific set of colors to identify, you need that.

I got lucky, we use red / black / gray... The PC Gamer colors... that was before this change, and not in response to. I might buy a few patterns for 75 MC each... but I'll not be unlocking many colors until it doesn't cost as much as a pack of smokes.

I spent 1k for that sexy black then covered it on everything I had. Pre-patch this would have costed a ridiculous fortune lol. People will recognize the goth MW pilot in his fully black Mechs. I need someone to queue with me and take some shots of this beautiful Obsidian Black on my Mechs. Now they just need to give me the ability to put a B with wings around it on my Mechs.

Geezus , basic colors costing 1,250,000 that's REDICULOUS. bassically some one has to play 10-15 matches for a single basic color ... there isn't a weapon system that cost that much. why the hell would a basic paint job cost that much. also teh MC pricing is a bit on the high side too , 500 , for standard , and 1000 for premium .. ouch , should make it 250 standard and 500 for premium. also are we being refunding "what we paid" befire the change or are we being refunding the current value ? because if you reset and refund my MC for old paint jobs cost how am i supposed to be able to replace them under the new pricing ? i do intend to buy more mc at some point, but i'm a game art design student i'm not a made milionaire.

Actually "color" is the Latin form, has nothing to do with Americanized English. You are correct that in England, Australia, New Zealand this is considered the proper spelling.

They are 1 time fees though. I spent almost 5M on blue tints, and would drop more on future Mechs. Now it's 625k off the sale and that's it. Forever. They will be 1,250k after the sale ends. Still not unreasonable, but get them now while the sale is going! Very easy to afford if you got refunds like I did.

Everything I have to say has been said already, I say it anyway though.

Untill now I have avoided paying MC for colors/ patterns because of their one time use status. I did make one purchase of a color but, I did that by mistake so. I kept it even though it wasn't the color I wanted. That being said I love that you can keep the colors and patterns forever. My issues are that they are at a price point that is still WAY TO HIGH. 3000 MC or $14.95 U.S. for three Premium/Phranken colors really?!?!?! 1250 MC or $6.95 U.S. for patterns would be fine if they were for all mechs not just for a single chassis type. The one time price for patterns IS where it should be though and I am strongly considering making a purchase.
