Can we just get this thread going to show PGI and crew how much we appreciate their effort. A lot of us have been behaving like spoiled brats, whinging, pining, and badgering about everything broken with the game. I think its high time we as a community take a good long look at what PGI has delivered. For the first time we have a visually beautiful and immersive Mechwarrior. It has the steep learning curve and pseudo science that tabletop gamers thrive on, testing loadouts and combinations to propel them into the upper echelons of battlemech warfare. This is it, this is the Mechwarrior we have all been waiting for, and many of us are just missing it and behaving very callous and unsupportive to the PGI crew, they are a little shop and have limited resources that are obviously stretched very thin, and they have accomplished something that is nothing short of remarkable.
I am asking, lets get back together as a community and give balanced and constructive criticism in areas we perceive are lacking, and praise and positive feedback in areas that are working. They are obviously listening.......and we are going to need each other when the glimmer on the horizon of clan dropships hove into view
Raise a glass to Bryan Eckman, and Niko Snow, and Garth Erlam and the rest of the noble PGI crew and wholeheartedly say, Thank you, this is what gaming is all about.
For the rest of you drecks....See you on the field.
