Well Sir I would Start out with the Wasp ( my personal Fav from the old days of Dice and pen ) then move on to the Bushwacker ( again from the Dice and pen playing days ) then the MAd cat ( ya ya I know Boooo Clan Fan boy,but hay I just love the Mad cat ) then maybe onto the Maruder II....and I would keep every mech just to make sure I got everything coverd...

to list in order

1) Wasp
2) Bushwacker
3)Mad Cat
4) Maruder II

Thay would be my pick...

Such a shame that the bullet will not get bitten and a small royaltie payed to be able to use the "forbidden" mechs.

Why would it need to be when they've been redesigned already and perfectly legal? And would be redesigned again by FD for inclusion in MW:O. If the Devs want them in, they'll be in.

My Fav Starting Mech would be a Hunchback 4P.. Disco lights all over the Place.
I would either be happy with Catapult or Archer...

I think to enhance progression the first mech should be very light. Wasp, Hornet, Flea/Fire Ant, and Commando come to mind as good training mechs.

I'll probably start in a medium. I am not a good specializer usually. I like to be in all-around class. Unless you can do cool stealth stuff in a raven. Then I'm totally in, haha.

Poor mans Catapult I know, but good solid 'mechs and well balanced IMO.

Hunback P variant. It was a nasty Mech that was loaded with medium lasers and LRM 10's. 3025 era and would give any Mech a run for it money in a urban enviroment.

Warhammer 7D, good armor and good weapon mix.

Wolfhound 2, good movement and non-ammo based weapons.

Orion, any variant, Great armor and mix of weapons.

I have always liked the Phoenix Hawk, Marauder, and Warhammer. Although the Hunchback, and Whitworth have been growing on me.

It goes without saying that I'd like to see the "unseen" back, though with how their artist is turning out new designs for old mechs, I'd really like to see the unseen with some new concepts, even if they are somewhat radical. That said.. here's my list

Light---

Locust
Mongoose
Commando
Firefly
Hermes
Valkyrie
Firestarter
Jenner
Raven
Panther

Medium---

Assassin
Hermes II
Blackjack
Phoenix Hawk
Vindicator
Centurion
Hunchback
Trebuchet

Heavy---

Dragon
Catapult
JagerMech
Thunderbolt
Grasshopper
Warhammer
Marauder
Orion

Assault---

Awesome
Zeus
Battlemaster
Shogun
Stalker
Atlas

No I didn't. Battlemaster is 3rd on the assault list. As for the Shadowhawk? I felt that the current set of mediums I placed down more than encompassed the capabilities that a Shadowhawk comes to the field with. I also left out the Chameleon, which was another unseen and fell into the same line of design as the Wasp, Stinger and Pheonix Hawk.

It'd be awesome to see the Shadowhawk, certainly. But I don't think every classic unseen or reseen or other such iconic mechs need to be in the game. At least not to start. I'm sure we'll see new mech chassis get introduced with time and content expansions.

But yeah. Battlemaster is gonna be my assault of choice if it shows up.
