I've 'searched' for a game at least twenty times. I've restarted my client. Restarted my laptop. Changed different mechs.

I got into ONE GAME. Which proceeded to play for around about a MINUTE before I was disconnected without a warning or error message. The mechs just stopped moving, like my net stopped working.

Every. single. other. game. has just pitched up a black screen and dumped me back to the mehlab with no error message. No map loading. No match. My mech does NOT enter the match as it is still immediately available for use in the mechlab.

Great patch, guys.

I have the same problem :\

I logged in after patching, played one match, and now the game kicks me back to the lobby without even getting to the loading screen  As you say, the mech is still immediately available for use.

I tried fiddling with the options, running in full windowed etc. Restarting the client, everything one would try, to no avail.

Actually it IS a great patch from what I saw of that one game, but I can't play any more :\

Sounds like the patch didn't apply correctly to your machine. Dump it and download it from scratch.

Tried deleting the USER dir. No dice. I guess there's only the reinstall option left

Try these other suggestions and if your still not running after a re-install get back to us and we'll try to sort things out with ya.

Sometimes patches fail, seen it happen on just about ever game I've tested - sucks but a re-install is probably in your future.

Happened to me a few patches ago ( 3 or 4 ). I'll just get a fresh install. No biggie. I'm just happy the size of this game is relatively small, hehe. I'll get back and report what I find after the reinstall.

Thank's for being an understanding tester, and please do let us know how it goes so we can streamline user-end fixes for issues while things get resolved in the dev end.

New players that don't realize they are participating in an actual beta versus a complete game with the title beta may not think of that right off. Also there are occasional work-arounds to some of these bugs so let's treat the newer players and those that ask for help with some respect.

If you want to troll other founders and vets posting QQ and ragequit threads, I'll not stand in your way, but you should try to help the new players out.

Okay, so here's what I've done:

Reinstall, check
Driver updates, check ( gpu and apu )

Still no dice :\

I'm not a new player, and my beta experience goes back over a decade ^_^ Although, Thryst might be, so I'm not only doing this for my own benefit, but also other who may suffer from the same issues. Trolls will be trolls, I guess.

I'm a bit confounded at the moment as to what could be the problem. Maybe there's something on my ISP's side. It's hard to tell if there's a hardware/software issue, or just a disconnect, since all I get is a black screen before getting booted back to the lobby.

I'll try and see if I can dig up any other solutions. I'll be back.

I've exhausted every option I can think of so far ( save for doing a fresh windows install, but that's not a viable option to me atm ). Still no dice.

Anyone else have any ideas? ^_^

Yes, probably. I'll give it a try tomorrow. Fresh start.

Have you tried rolling back some drivers? Also things like windows firewall or a net scouring antivirus may have blocked your game with an update in the client.

I've double-checked those. I did a reinstall of some .net things in hopes that it would help, and I got into a match right after doing so. However after that match I got the black screen of doom once more, so it's more than likely an ISP issue.

Thanks for being so quick and eager to help, though. Very kind!
