PROBLEM SOLVED
Issue: Right mouse button not working. Mech sometimes turns continuosly on itself
Solution: Uninstall and reinstall game
***

Hi all,

a friend of mine (who doesn't speak english) has a problem. Sometimes he starts playing and his mech continues to go left as a mad cow. He tried changing mouse but nothing.
He also has is right mouse button don't working (with both mouses).
His configuration is exactly as mine. His joystick has been disconnected (he has a Logitech G940 as me).

Everything works just fine with any other game.

Detail, I had a similar problem with L.A. Noire.
What happens?

I had a similar problem a while back. My mech would walk in a circle or sometimes repeatedly alpha strike. I then would have to unplug/replug my keyboard and mouse just to regain control of my mech. I got a new keyboard and that seemed to rid me of the issue.

I've also had this issue 4-5 times. I was told that hitting both "A" & "D" simultaneously can sometimes trigger this to happen, and that doing a single tap of the opposite key can sometimes "reset" the inputs. However, when I've tried it it has only been a 50/50 success rate.

At some times my Mech is stucked in a turn - it helps me to push the key (A or D) that fits to the turn direction once or a few times and it will stop usually.

When you hold down a key on the keyboard, the OS receives a key DOWN signal, when you release, it receives a key UP signal.
If for some reason it does not process or receive the key up, it will think the key is still down and you will need to hit the key again to send another key up.

This may not be a bug with MWO, especially if you see it in other games.

Is the keyboard and/or mouse wireless?

I've had issues with some wireless keyboards/mice where if you press too many keys at once, or if the signal between the items and the receiver are spotty, that the 'unpress' signal doesn't make it through, so the dongle still thinks the button is being pressed.

I would try replacing batteries if that is the case, and/or moving the receiver closer to the keyboard/mouse (you may need to use a USB extension cable to do this.)

Or even better, I have since switched back to wired keyboards and mice for gaming because they're just more reliable.

My friend uninstalled and reinstalled game. Right mouse button is working properly, now. Thanks all for suggestions and hope I can help other people with same issue!

Out of interest, did you log in to MWO on his computer?
I know for example if another account logs in to MWO on my PC, LEFT mouse button is unbound for both accounts (The one that logged in and mine).

Are you sure it wasn't something like that happening?
