I'd rather get a "Full Armor" button than full screen as that at least changes the functionality.

amen to that one.

I never said they should stop what they are doing and focus on this, not to mention it's probably not all that labor intensive to do so anyway, so I don't know where y'all were getting that.

It stretches the images instead of being it's native resolution, thus making it look terrible. Which in turn in my mind is not something a game that's aiming for AAA quality should have/do or encourage.

The whole reason why that client is windowed vs. the main game client is because the swapping between two full screen executables requires a lot of deallocation and allocation of system and video memory.

This game runs on two different programs. The mechlab/main entry program (basically its a database program with a directx window coded into it) and the action/game program (which just reads the database and loads assets based on the input from the server).

I think this is planned for the Mechlab UI overhaul

Why does it even matter? Is the mechlab screen large enough to use/read? If so who cares that it isn't full screen?

not a big priority, but in wondowed mode the mouse pointer tends to act up making it hard to click on anything (especially small buttons) in the mech lab.

i will say they have been fixing a lot on a regular basis so i won't complain much about these minor issues.

I would say.. when we see a usable and simply fantastic & minimalistic looking launcher GUI design? :) The current launcher is a mess and over-complicated in design decisions concerning the layout and graphics (lines, colors for purpose, contrasts, placements, fonts, section heading and area shapes...).

As long as they don't force it to be full screen all the time, I'll support this.

But I do prefer it the way it is.
