I used to be just like you. Just a regular joe, dropping in Commandos, trying to make a living on my PUG salary and measly .50 W/L ratio. I fired LRMs within 150m, I used machine guns, heck, I even liked AC2s! Pretty embarassing, right!? BUT THAT ALL CHANGED when I met Steel Jaguar! In JUST A FEW SHORT WEEKS, my withering mercenary career turned around and DID A FULL 180 JUMP JET TURN AROUND!! Now I have a KDR of 72.54, I know all the 1337 strats, I got promoted, I can do 360-no-scope-gausscat headshots, I'm having more luck with women, and I am averaging 1400 DAMAGE PER MATCH! WOW!! And I owe it all to SJR!

Reading the SJR site application requirements and I don't think I'd do that well in there :/
I mean, high level of activity... I'm widely known for getting addicted to a game and then abandoning it for a couple of weeks.
Speaking English... sure, but that doesn't guarantee other people can understand me !
And my ping is like 250 (always has been in MWO)... I can do well with it, but I'm not that sure about doing "competitively well".

One of our very best pilots, Az0r, runs with a 200+ ping regularly; he's in Australia.

It's true we are extremely selective, possibly the most selective team currently recruiting. But, we have a very close-knit atmosphere and we are a team that our members do not want to leave once they make it past their Recruit status into inception as full Member - it's that kind of atmosphere that keeps a team together and playing even during phases where the game is broken or boring. We encourage all who are truly interested in being a Steel Jag to go ahead and apply; we don't guarantee acceptance to anyone, but we will review all applications thoroughly and fairly based on our established standards.

As for that, you might want to start with getting your a$$es in gear and scheduling your match with Snow Raven instead of running your mouths.
