Did they increased the Catapult head hitbox? Because it wasn't the cockpit glass as far as I know from closed/open beta.

This is beautiful! Now i just need to account for bullet drop when trying to plop an A/C 20 round into an Atlas's face from a range of 400

When you do the new hitboxes could you put up comparison pics with the old ones.

I'm saving the old images to my computer so I can sit down later and compare them.
I (or someone else) could potentially re-upload them to imageshack or some other similar site if they don't keep them.

Hello guyz !

This week, i work on news hitboxes to offer the last update.
But it's very strange, in the mechlab, hitboxes look like pretty exactly to the "oldest versions".

And ingame test give the same shot, at the nearly same place.

So i imagine the update is just for adjust the ingame bugs, like shoot in the back and touch the front. I think this isn't new (good) hitboxes like http://mwomercs.com/...xes-the-return/ .

Of course, if you have any more intel about that, feel free to share !

But seriously, shoot in the head, hitbox is useless :D !

Thank !
I have a drop folder on my computer, but multicopy is good too !

The mechlab and in-game hitboxes are two completely different things. They never ever were exactly the same hitboxes but now the differences are much larger.

Actually you can use the mech lab for knowing hitboxes there is a little "trick" you can do (where you click is where you hit), I have myself checked the hitboxes of atlas, spider and the awesome (not the orion) they seem mainly untouched, I have notice small difference like pelvis now partially counting as leg. But it is nowhere near the pelvis=full leg some people wanted (I am not part of these people but that discussion is for another thread).

Whelp, saw my first few Griffins today, actually doing well. Made me regret not getting the pack sooner (went to get it the day after... ah well.) So, to hold me over, I shall kill them repeatedly using these hit boxes once they arrive.

You right, no upgrade from long time.

From last patches i doesn't see any change (in mechlab).

But for now, i don't want to rebuy all the mechs and spend time on hitboxes.
But don't be afraid, i'll maj all the thread when UI 2.0 wiil online !

If anyone want to help :P.

A note for the Spider's hitboxes: They now extend beyond the model, most notably the legs.

I honestly thought this was all old news but great thread.

Nice job, all looks accurate to me, I did my own testing when I first started this game not long ago and just watched where the flashing was when I shot someone.

Maybe the people who whinge about hitboxes not working simply didn't know this data. Hope it clears it up some so that there is less crying about it

Great work -

Is there one floating around for the Battlemaster?

I just got killed by a headshot from the rear - by a cicada of all things. My BLG has taken quite a beating in many rounds, but this happening at full health is just really suspect. Any thoughts if this is an issue or what? Dont really want to cry foul, but i find it hard to believe a cicada can one shot (alpha?) a Battlemaster in the back, do no damage other than take out the cockpit....
