Has it occurred to many of you that with the amont of posts you make, you've spent as much time on this game as I have, only in the Forums, not on the Battlefield

You won mechwarrior i hope the speedy grind was wirth it. I only have 7 mechs no masters and plenty to look forward to.

It was a goal. I'm a pessimist. The opportunity arose when they removed R&R.

That's it. I set a goal, I did it. Itr doesn't matter what the goal is.

For you, if you're happy with where you are going, as long as you stay happy, that's far more important than how many mechs are Mastered. Keep Looking forward!

You can only stay until if you want until the 19th. Then one more mech to go!

That's a lot of mechs...I'm at 23 and hope to have all the Assaults mastered at some point in the near future. Probably do the Heavies after that and then just mess around until CW starts.

If i were you I would set myself some goals not related to stats or progression.

Become the best sniper
Become the best brawler
Practice being a scout and giving into to pug team
Try being a commander and getting wins form co-ordination.

Create your OWN goals. I care not a fig what the game tells me, i set my own goals that i want to achieve in a game like this and work at it.

CW will certainly help someone like you, though you might want to join a clan/unit to take advantage of a lot more stuff.

I think they are adding achievements to the game though which might help you but I would really encourage you to branch out and look at what is fun, what challenges you, and create goals around that

... and no i am not close to being able to max out my mechs lol ... and here comes a child in 2 weeks i may never mech again

I still have a long way to go to reach my goal in the game.

My goal is a little differant. I want to become a very skillfull Sniper in my favorite Mech (Catapult-K2). I personaly, want to achive, headshot killing all opponents in a single match (I don't cheat and never will). I like achievements of pure skill.

This is one of the reasons I continue to play First Person Shoter Games and Fighting Games long after I have unlocked everything. I work to become the very best I can be at the game.

You're quite right.

However, as someone pointed out, I am free. I want another longterm goal to fiddle with while I do other stuff.

Let's face it, 3-5 mechs + 1 Hero mech per month isn't the same as 56 in 3.5 months.

My deadline was Founder's Premium running out. I made it. Next goals won't have deadlines like that.

Hope this rain stops, I need to get some food and have lunch.

My possible achievements are limited by my internet speed (280ms ping).

That may change as the game changes, but I was realistic (I also lack the patience for sniping).

Yeah, I always wondered about that. Players able to field a full battalion of mechs, and eventually a regiment, but just one pilot!

You may want to diversify your gaming portfolio. Clearly you have a PC that can run decent games. Download steam and look at whats out there. Im pretty sure theres something else that you would enjoy playing.
