I've got to say that the jump jet changes made me wary at first, but after a couple of days of playing around with my Spider, I finally feel like I have the leaping abilities I should. Even on my 5K with only 6 I can do more than slam my face into the cliff and hope I have enough fuel to make it over! Even the modest 5D with 8 can make some impressive leaps, and I haven't even had the chance to try out the 12 on my 5V. So thank you for the change in trajectory.

I can stop calling them "Gliding jets" now.

I've got 5 in all my Jenners, and I can now reliably hop enemy mechs rather than ramming into them.
I just wish it had enough vertical juice to make it up the cliffs around the edge of the map in Frozen City. in TT I'd be getting 150m of vertical out of them.

Needs a half second more jet time in my opinion.

The 5V is insane. Was running it earlier today and was able to jump all over the place with ease. Kept dodging in and out of about 5 Mechs where I know atleast 4 of them were heavies or assaults. Took them forever to take me down. Thankfully none had streaks. Even got complimented on my skills jumping around like that.

Seriously. But the travesty they were before made the only one of my Spiders with even a respectable vertical the 5V, and I'd be damned if I made that silly double CT energy hardpoint fool my primary Light. The main reason I bought a Spider was the hope that I could jump and be mobile as all hell and the state of the jets before made me very sad inside.

I've fallen in love with Frozen City and River City because of all the potential for the elevation changes I can make with my Jets to avoid nasty situations. It added an entirely different level to the play of the Spider, and hell any jump capable light, so bravo gentlemen for giving me another weapon in my Light 'Mech arsenal.

And Dovvol, I am more excited to try my 5V than ever in its silly history. Practically drooling. >.>
