*reads Cupcakes*
That's it? That is what you lot think of as sick, demented and twisted?
That's pathetic guys, I mean seriously sad sack levels of pathetic. I could get more disturbing than that with a 15 minute romp through Google, and that's if I keep it solely to non-fiction and historical events. Hell, the Donner Party was more disturbing that this.
If you think this is "looking into the abyss", I got news for you. You're nowhere near the edge of the abyss yet.
You guys really should be playing with little girls toys.

Apparently, Fluttershy mentioned "French Haute Couture" in Suited for Success.
But I just call it Prance.
As for the discussion of new episodes:
THE AMOUNT OF RARITY EPISODES!
IS TOO DAMN HIGH!
Seriously, when am I getting my Applejack episodes?

And cake, be tough online. You too zendric see you guys on the field.
I never implied I had the market cornered on manliness. You completely misread or didn't bother to understand the message behind my post if you thought that about my reply. You challenged me, you insulted me, and everybody else in the military brony community, if not most bronies in general. I personally think my reply was at an appropriate level. It was not intended to be sarcastic, insulting, or challenging, just simply thought-provoking.
Your overall demeanor and maturity level displayed in your responses is akin to most arguments I see by teenagers trying to troll bronies. The fact you use your prior service as a shield and excuse to allow you to say whatever you want has to be one of the lower things I've seen people do in defense of their actions, and goes directly against the core values and what they teach in every branch of service. By letting your service be the defense of your words and actions, you bring discredit upon yourself and those that served with you.
I know quite a few bronies who are active duty military. One recently returned from a combat deployment to Afghanistan, got heavily involved with drinking to deal with the PTSD he came back with, but happened to discover MLP:FiM by accident, which led to him shunning away alcohol, and to directly quote a part of what he said, "Very likely saved my life."
And just to be perfectly clear, this is not a circle of equals. You and I are not equals, despite us both having served. Any credit or level ground you think you've attained because of your prior service is directly nullified by the way you have chosen to act in a completely harmless topic.

We will settle the superiority battle through combat when the time comes.
I understand what you're saying, and I certainly don't deny you have the right to voice your opinion. I just simply want to put in a reminder that just because you CAN voice your opinion, doesn't necessarily mean you should. Has nothing to do with free speech, and more along the lines of the usual saying, "If you aren't going to say something nice, don't say anything at all."
It's like the Westboro Baptist Church issue. Are they breaking any laws? No. Are they entitled to voice their opinion? Yes. Does that mean they have free reign to say things that they know will be hurtful and impacting in a negative way? Not necessarily. It has nothing to do with the right of free speech, and more along the lines of holding your fellow human beings with mutual respect.
The words I grew up with and will never forget:
"When you talk to anybody, you only have to remember 2 things. Common respect, common courtesy."
Sadly I think it's a lost phrase in today's world, and part of the reason I love the brony community is the lack of cynicism found nearly everywhere. I've seen bronies argue back and forth only to each apologize to one another and accept eachother's opinions. I've also seen religious discussions where atheists, christians, muslims, etc. all talked about the dangers of religious extremists from all sides, without ever devolving into a flame war. That particularly surprised me.
The only thing I wonder, is why do so many people find it necessary to hate/despise a group of people that enjoy a show with positive messages, that embrace a non-confrontational and non-cynical attitude?
There's more cake and fun on the non hateful side of the internet

I personally think the only thing worse then unbecoming servicemen and women is the complete lack of Applejack and Rainbow Dash character episodes. They shared Running of The Leaves as a lack of character episode and Dashie kinda had a character deal in Sonic Rainboom, but Rarity stole the show. Likewise AJ had Applebuck Season, but again was more a lack of character episode. There really has been nothing that shows why these two characters are so strong, only that they are crazy like everypony.
