So, first off, Indiana Jones pony is best pony!



Secondly, in case some of you haven't heard, Bronies for Good pulled off a huge success with the Smile! charity project, closing off at an enormous $26,000 for the Children's Cancer Association: Chemo Pal Program. For those who weren't in the loop about the project, basically Bronies for Good teamed up with the musicians at My Little Remix, and organized a charity where people could donate $10+ to the program, and in return would receive an exclusive christmas/uplifing music album by the musicians at MLR.

There's another charity album in the works right now called, "Seeds of Kindness." More information on that as it progresses further.

The part that shocked me, was given that one of my tracks got featured on the album, my leading chief at my squadron told me to include the project and its results in my annual evaluation. Talking to my department head later on, he gave me a hint that my ranking to other 2nd class petty officers at my command soared ahead because of my involvment with the charity album.

For those that aren't familiar with how evals work, basically a command has a select number of high promotion recommendations they can give sailors in each paygrade. The top selected getting more points towards their advancement exam (aka, can advance faster), in addition to the highest scores being able to take their exams earlier than required.

So if I get one of the top eval spots, I get more points to go towards my exam, I can take it a year early, and possibly advance to E-6 a year earlier.

I don't know if she needs to be more assertive is correct, probably less timid and more confident is a better word for it. She does beat the crap out of a bear and then chews out a dragon.

This thread is just a place for us to share critiques on episode, discuss news, and share recent art, music, etc. for the show.

The "anti-pony" thread used a very similar thread title, and while I didn't get a chance to view it, I'm pretty sure it was simply intended to either be a hate driven thread, or just simply bait to get us into a flame war.

The mods obviously don't want flame wars on their boards, and while the thread could have simply been intended for those who don't like the show, in the end, it's a thread devoid of any substance.

In other words, our thread is still here because we're discussing an actual show, with an actual community and fanbase. The anti-pony thread is no longer here, because it's simply a topic intended to either flame our topic, or individual members of this board, and the mods obviously won't have any of that.

Why waste time and energy hating something anyway? I personally don't like Ray William Johnson, but I don't waste time talking about how much I dislike him and/or troll people who do. I just ignore it.

While it is acceptable to voice your dislike of all things pony (as some of the developers are wont to do), any response that crosses the line from a civil expression of distaste to something more offensive is something I have to act on, no matter what topic it might concern.

Just curious... and I don't really hate MLP.. just wondering why the bordering on fanatical love of a cartoon for 6 year old girls.... ? Its kinda creepy.

I mean I like Penguins of Madagascar, but don't feel compelled to waste a thread on a forum NOT DEDICATED To it.. Just sayin. This is a forum for MW:O not My Little Pony.. and its a meme thats gotten out of hand, not just here but internet wide.

Did I mention its a little creepy for any boy (especailly those older than say 13) or man (of any age) to even be interested in the show, much less infatuated with it..?

Again not trying to troll.. just wondering why every forum on the net has to be a place to talk all things Pony. Isn't there a forum dedicated to PONY that you guys could go to..?

I mean if its here because its all in good fun, then why can't some good natured poking fun back not be allowed ?
