To be brutally honest, Fluttershy is probably my LEAST favorite of the Mane 6 . Literally all she has going for her is that she is cute. All other ponies do that, especially Pinkie Pie (Best poni). I have also seen little fanon or canon to give her more depth than any of the other characters. For me the reaction to Fluttershy is "Aww, thats cute" and then it stops there.

Agreed, Fluttershy may be very timid and scared of her own shadow at times, but the fact that she has faced down some nasty creatures others could not is just full of win. Yes she is very adorable but when put into a corner she has the potential of kicking some arse.
