Hrm. That looks to be more of a thrusting weapon. Worf's bat'leth was more of a blocking/slashing/cutting-in-two weapon. But I suppose it does look similar to those hollow-centered knives they carried around..

Oh gods, sorry. I just nerded out there....

I should also point out that thing is epic and I want one.
